For me, Magic Launcher has an error connecting to any server. When I click "Login" it says "Error connecting to server" and the Reddit posts, tweets, and recent Minecraft updates never seems to load (Minecraft wiki loads fine). I have a Windows 8 PC so that might be the problem, but I've installed the recent, compatible java (Java 7 update 10) and I can run Minecaft just fine on a normal Minecraft launcher. (I've also noticed all server have a communication error while playing offline with the Magic Launcher, though usually you just can't join any servers.)

It would be really helpful if someone can help!

Hey ya everyone!


I have this idea of a mod I'd be happy to do with our members of our server as an event. It will be based on gaining hearts by doing various things, such as eating a golden apple or taming an ocelot. The mod wouldn't need to add more features (new blocks and items) but it will need to be SMP compatible (plugin is fine). If you are up for taking on this challenge, contact me through Skype. I've read some posts of yours saying adding complex custom colors is hard with incompatibility with forge and etc. I know two of my favorite features from it is missing which are xporbcolors and sheep.color. Do you know roughly when you'll work on it? I know it's on your to-do list, but I'm just curious. I hope these kind of posts don't tick you off.

Hey ya peeps, this is Junk.

I am the owner of the TriPixel server, yet a member of the nice, small community that consists of people of ages through thirteen through seventeen. I am proud and happy to be able to play and talk with the other members of TriPixel, and some of us are proud to share our work and our joy on the server to others via Youtube. Few of us record and make videos, and many are planning to record, just waiting for a more calm and an appropriate timing to do so. The community was created based on one of the most admirable community, MindCrack, and we favor their style, but we have no affiliations with them; we are just inspired. We don't do and copy everything they do, to keep our pride and more importantly, our style.

In order to keep our originality and style, for a more refreshing entertainment to us and others, we need some help from you! We are looking for

-An experienced coder who can make a mod for us

-A talented artist who is able to draw out some stuff

Let me briefly explain

-Coder-
As many of you know, one of the best joy about this game is PvP. Watching PvP is also fun, too, as the MindCrack crew demonstrates. I thought it would be nice to play a PvP event, but with a system no others have done before. It will be Minecraft, but at the same time, "it's like a whole new game." I have some ideas for such mod, and more will come. It would be nice to have someone as a part of a community who we are privately able to share ideas for a mod which we'll all be able to enjoy with.

-Artist-
As you've read in the beginning, few of us records on the server. And few of that few people are able to put thumbnails and customize their Youtube profile. Most of us put effort into video making, and it would be nice to have someone assist us with their artistic talent. Honestly, we aren't looking for graphic artists, but we are looking for someone who can draw well (and also enjoy while doing so).


I did not explain in details about what we want and what we are looking for, but I think this sums up the important parts that should be mentioned as for now. (Of course I might have forgotten something though)

Your build-style: I love building into extreme hills biomes, because that way I can have exterior decoration, and I don't have to place every single block for interior decoration. (Half Etho-Style Man Cave/Half House)

Your play-style: I absolutely love building, though I often get distracted and do other things while building, so most of my builds are unfinished.

A bit about you: I'm a gamer who desperately wants to upgrade his old computer. I have been playing minecraft since Beta 1.5, and hates console gamers. I loved minecraft back in the day when the community wasn't filled with immature kids who came from learning about minecraft from the xbox and jumping into the PC version.
