Why add silver ore to vanilla when there are like 3+ popular MODS that add silver, copper, tin, ect and gives them all purpose OUTSIDE what your suggesting? The purpose of mods is to do stuff that the devs don't add to the game. Its also why the devs have to think up very creative ideas that have not been done in modding, and give them unique features. Not supported because mods. Thats all.
FTB unleashed server. Modded minecraft. I log on, start chating with the admin, start looking for a base, start setting up. Next day, banned for use of modded items like an iron...furnace...from IC2...REALLY? IT WAS ONE OF THE MAIN MODS IN THE PACK!
Didn't even bother to appeal it. The admin seemed like a jerk anyways. Was making a nice spawn though...
Back in beta, I was a server hopper. I would play on a server for a few days, watch it die and vanish (seriously, each server was new and only lasted 2-5 days) When one day,. a server I was playing on, got along with everyone, even played along side someone helping build his house. the admin liked me, op'd me. I started liking the server. The next day, the map was reset. I was still op. I asked what was going on, where was the world from yesterday? I never got a response. Instead, i just played normally. I chopped down a normal sized tree, then went over to take down a large tree by building a 1x1 tower of wood. I got banned before I could finish the tree. There was no reason given, it may have been before reasons were used, it was in beta after all.
So yeah, I suppose this means I was banned for....chopping down a tree...I stopped server hopping right after that. My first and only ban too.

I imagin its POSSIBLE, but I can't imagin that it would, then again, Sony is going on and on about the systems connectivity, so it may be possible to at least have a local play between Vita and ps3/4 but I can't say for sure, I don't work for 4J....
I have never been a fan of the xbox 360. The idea that Minecraft was exclusive to the stupid system was something i HATED with a passion. The 360 version was one of the (FEW) deciding factors for getting a 360, but I told myself, when the contract ended, and they would allow for a ps3 version, I would switch over the INSTANT the game is released. So considering that i can't get the ps4 for many reasons at launch, I plan on switching right over to the ps3 version without a moments hesitation and never touch the 360 version EVER again so yeah....
So the ps3 and vita are getting the game as well, so if the ps4 version is released with the ps4, when does the ps3 version come out? the same day? It's gona be 2-3 years before i get a ps4.....
Nobody is better at repeated deaths than myself. If its possible to die, i will do so. I'd say i'm decent at mining, but the conatnt deaths make it so i lose my stuff almost as fast as i acquire it....
i'm horrible at everything else, even my homes are simple and bleh to look at!
Always check out the OS read all about it then make an opinion.
For example: I hate Windows 8 (I actually do) Because of it's mobile UI etc.
But if you do like it then just use the drivers that Extreme_heat posted.
Always try to get a Windows OS as an OEM by buying something like a disc reader you get it for much cheaper. And a new Disc Reader
Ok, I have read up on Windows 8, I was well aware of the negative feedback, but I believe in the saying "Don't knock it 'till ya try it" and i gave it a spin on a friends computer. The learning curve was steap, but i got the hang of it, and learned the basics, thats what led me to my decission to get Windows 8.
Thank you Extreme_Heat for your help. i googled all over for the drivers, and could not find, I'm glad i asked on here. i appreciate the help, and minecraft instantly started to run perfectlty.

They couldn't, it was under an exclusive contract with Microsoft,. now that license is invalid, and they can make for other platforms.
