Here is the most compact 3 flip flop I know, and it was created by me -
Dimensions 6x2x1 excluding input and output.
That is pretty nice I might try it. Thanks!
Edit:That design can also be turned into a 1 wide design if the button is on one side to the left and the output is moved
I have a quick question. I record minecraft with fraps, and it creates a .avi filetype, and you may not know, but the file size is extremely big, like for every minute, is a gig. But my question is how come every time i render with sony vegas pro 10, i render it to mp4 and the video quality comes out terrible and laggy, and the file size is only 15mb from 1gb.
btw nice designs :wink.gif:
When you downgrade from avi it is not easy to get good quality...you probably should not try to record your vids as and avi...much to bulky. But thats all I can help with cause I use Camtasia not fraps
GLIRB! good job on your t-flip flops
but it seems that since pistons came out, no one could even do anything redstone related without them! what i mean is that the people who made computers and stuff without pistons, yeah i respect them. but now, even an and gate needs a piston!
I have never seen an and gate with pistons yet...interesting haha well pistons help so much now because it can make these designs so much more compact. Most redstone projects you will actually hear about are made with pistons because the projects are BIG and not easy to make so using pistons help compact it and make our lives easier XD but yea I do kinda miss the days of just redstone...not really lol.
its a good design, but it is a little bit glitchy. I made one as well, except with a slightly more compact design from ur second one (I'm talking like 1 block shorter in length), and I found for the most part is works as intended. But I also found that when I hooked it up to a clock, and I let it run, sometimes, the pulse shortener didn't seem to shorten the pulse completely, and instead of pushing the block forward and leaving it there, it pushed it forward and pulled it back. So yeah, it is a bit glitchy, and I would imagine that on an SMP server, it would be practically useless. But for about 95% of the time on single player, it works nicely. Still, I think I would rather the original large bulky design that works 100%, then something that fails every now and then. It's a great concept though.
The second one does fail a lot haha but the third is very good it works 100% with the exception that you must make sure you dont press the button to soon or else it wont work
Hey everybody! I came up with 3 new T-Flip-Flop designs. The main reason for the creation is for a secret BIG project I am working on, so I thought some others might make use of these designs too. So here is the video if you would like me to make another video showing how to make them and possibly implement them then just leave the request in the comments here and I will see what I can do.

Edit:There is a new one I just made to be compatible with the contraption I am making, so I will have a video up probably tonight

It is just a little bit too long for my project.

Thanks! I have seen some other ones and tried them but they were to long and 2 block wide. Soooo when all else fails make your own haha.
