Buffalo would be pretty much the same as cows, just with a different look. I would like it if the existing critters had a few different possible skins for different biomes. So the cow might be a bison in one biome, a water buffalo in another, a yak in another, a moose in another, and a goat in another. But it's all the same stats.
Did you catch the moose? I like that image, milking a moose. Lol
I recently came up with an idea for a regular wall clock and a grandfather clock. The wall clock would be very simple to make. Just take the currently existing clock and surround it on the crafting table with wood planks:
= wall clock
= clock
This would produce a 1x1x1 block that shows the clock face of the normal portable clock but as a decoration/furniture piece. It would serve no other purpose than showing the time and looking cool. Total cost: * 8, * 4, * 1
= redstone dust
The grandfather clock, on the other hand, would be a pricier item to craft, yet it would look much nicer. First, craft a wall clock as shown above. Then craft a note block:
= note block
= redstone dust
Then, craft a new item called the pendulum:

[] [] = pendulum
[] []
= gold block (9 gold ingots)
Then, with the pendulum, craft the grandfather clock base:
= GF clock base
= pendulum
Finally, place it all together on the crafting table in the following vertical fashion:
The grandfather clock would stand 1x1x3, with a viewable pendulum swinging back and forth behind a glass door, and the original wall clock face for the clock. This clock would also chime at minecraft's dawn (0600), noon (1200), dusk (1800), and midnight (2400 or 0000). I limit it to these "hours" because an hourly chime in minecraft at all 24 hours would be annoying as hell. The cool part is that this chime can be heard from any -- and I mean ANY -- part of the world (the nether being the only exception, since time does not flow there). This would be helpful in locations where one can't see the sky yet doesn't want to carry around a clock. The heavy gold requirement would limit this furniture piece to those who have done significant mining in their world.

I would honestly go for the wall clock. I'm always looking for something to make the interior of Minecraft homes to look better. The pocket watch or so is already a item in Minecraft. Search the wiki.
