    It was an argument.
When you post an opinion backed up with support (as in your OP), there will come an argument.

But you refuse to back yourself up to anyone who disagrees, so this topic is going nowhere.

When a mod sees it, it'll most likely be locked.

Well I do guess you are right. But I wasn't intending for people to 100% disagree. Which was quite foolish of me

Inform the media? What media is on the MCForums? Please enlighten me with your limited vocabulary, and ignorance.

this is not off topic at all, this is the truth.

The topic. Do you remember it? And look up what media means.

Whining about something isn't hard for a four year old, actually.

But doing it on a computer is quite impressive. TOPIC

Jeb isn't a tyrant. A lot of the community likes the new updates. I prefer b1.7.3, but 1.4.5's great. Revolutions are unlikely to happen unless a majority's for it.

Never said he was. Just an example. Although yes I doubt this will have any affect on the further progression in development but it is always worth a try

So what you're saying is that you are a four?

I would be impressed with myself If I could do all this at the age of four. Back on topic though bud.

And you don't know what media means. Nice

Then why would you post a thread like this when you know people are going to voice their own opinions?

To inform the media and prepare them for the future. And I don't care about opinions based towards myself. As in I do not take offence. You interpreted it wrong.

    I'll summarize this topic:

Original Poster: I am right about these things that I summarize.
Other posters: Hmm, not sure I agree
Original Poster: You are all morons. Here, I'm make a fallacious analogy to revolutions

Oh no here we go again. You can just see your way out because you are flying further and further off topic.

If you dont like somehting, DONT USE IT. Simple as that. DOnt complain unless you actually read the whole post and respond to it. Not a small part of it. And like I said, change is not always good, but not always bad. Sure, some features seem useles,, but if I dont like it, I dont use it. Simple as that. Dont complain about changes that you dont have to use. You are not being forced to use these new features. Like I said before, evolution in a game is simple. AS youve said before, it changed the whole goal. What goal? Minecraft has no goal. The only limitation is your imagination. Your igorance and one sentance smirky comments annoy me. Learn how to spell, and dont say anything about age when you are obviously that age, or younger. Stop being a complete hypocrite, and open your eyes to the world. If you dont like minecraft in general because if the changes, then stop playing it. Simple as that.

I don't have time to read your essays. Summarize if you want to be heard.

    Quote from shallowdude

No matter what your opinion whether jeb is ruining or improving minecraft there's nothing we can do to stop it. So you can either complain about it, get nothing done, and waste your time or use MCNostalgia to go back to the version of minecraft that you think is best

And tyrants are never over thrown and their countries never have revolutions

They had a use. Fulfilling the requests to those that want them, and to celebrate the new years. Are they big uses? No. But they're uses nonetheless.

I understand listening to the community. But having them mold the game is far from correct. Everyone has different opinions and never will everyone be satisfied. Thus we use mods to fill our needs.

Jeb isn't ruining it, he's redefining it. The way he's making Minecraft (not as good as Notch's, in my opinion, though that's just me) is just making it a different game, not necessarily better or worse.

Changing the game wasn't his only option. He could have elaborated. But I guess this is why the game is being developed by a semi pro team

It's called evolution. All games and things go through it. A game can't stay the same forever. It will change. And if you dont like the new features, you are not forced to use them. Don't like enchanting? dont use it. Don't like potions? Don't make them. DOnt like the Wither? Don't spawn him. SImple as that. YOu are not orced to use the new features, so dont rage about evolution.

There is a difference between evolution and change. Most classic games try as hard as possible to stay towards their base line of the game. Evolution on the other hand is a way different category.

I do know what simple is.

Simple. Minecraft is still simple. How is it not? You are asking your opponents to find your evidence. That is not how arguing works present your evidence yourself for evaluation.

Lets calm ourselves before being so rash. So we shall jump to the point because this is a court case and we should argue like civilized beings over the internet to those who we will never meet in real life. Welcome to the internet. You are wrong if you don't agree with people.

Spoiler tagged it this time so it doesn't take of half the page.

Well, need to be precise and show I quoting a specific part. Like I'm about to do right now.

And what is that "Main course"?

    What's uneeded?

Not very useless when they were suggested for years.

    Not everyone uses mods.

What key features have been ignored?(Minus things that will be addressed in the future)

On a somewhat related note, 1.5's API will allow you to disable specific features.
    .

What kind of entirety was changed?

A lot of those 14 year olds are pretty smart.

Fire works are useful? They are a visual. You can scare a wolf which is a neutral mob. And using mods would be a smart idea so we don't need to result to faeries and princesses in the next few updates. I will admit SOME 14 year olds are smart, but most of them are a bunch of babbling fanboys that run the game at a constant 16 frames per second because they just came over from console

Because soon we will have faeries to fly us around instead of using redstone and minecarts to get us from point a to be

I agree and disagree with this. Whilst I agree that I think minecraft is on the wrong path, I disagree that it should have stopped.
The addition of Redstone, Pistons and Minecarts hinted at machinery and things. But Notch left and they were forgotten and made useless by all the magic and rpg elements added. I would've preffered it if we got given items that did certain things, rather than just enchanting previous items and providing effects through potions

I agree. The pistons and redstone add creativity. Key part of the game

    :Side note:
Don't worry I came prepared for the children to bash on me for having a different opinion. Continue on

That's fine. I will continue to play it because I still find it simple and fun in basic premises that expand it into emergent gameplay mechanics and ideas of using them. Arguably the same argument you are making now was made when redstone was added. It was invalid then, it's invalid now.

Im glad you know what simple is.

I don't even know why I keep entering in these post anymore... I guess I haven't lost all faith in humanity yet, and I think something good may happen, although that never happens...

Complaining is great, and this is certainly the right place to do it (since it is the official forum of the game) but if you complain about nothing in particular, then nothing good can be achieved. You have a problem with something in particular? Then complain about that, and if enough people think you are right, talk with Mojang about it. This threads are not going to solve anything.

You deserve a medal. I understand reading is hard but did I not point out that I disagree with the constant useless updates? Or did you miss out on that giant chunk.
    Quote from Music_Wulf

Adding small little things like fireworks or witches does not "change the game off its entirety"
It you know...adds small little things!

The future holds many great things for this game. By the time they finally "finish" it the entire point of the game will not be survival.
