    I am sorry if this is posted allready
    Don't mix this with mob spawners, and please don't be angry at me cause I am posting something that "allready is in the game(mob spawners)"!

    Introduction:
    Spawning statues will look like evil mobs, like creepers and skeletons or zombies. Thety alse tend to do something else, and that is to spawn the creature they look like. It will rarely appear on Mountains, surrounded by redstone torches...

    Spawning:
    Just like mob spawners, they spawn the creature they look like, just like mob spawners.

    Lookalike:
    They are two/three blocks high and looks like the mob they spawn.

    TNT Resistance:
    They are also immune to TNT explosion(just like obsidian, but can be mined by a stone pickaxe), so if it spawns creepers you will have a big problem.

    Drops:
    When mined by a stone pickaxe or greater it will drop some big quantity of what the monster it spawned dropped(Zombies :Zombie: =Feathers ]" title="-<->" /> or Skeles :Skeleton: =Bones and Arrows [>>-i>] ) and it will also spawn the statue itself, even though it won't spawn mobs after being placed again.

    Day/Night cycle:
    During daytime(no matter the light level) you can't destroy it nor will it spawn, but you can stop it with light during the night.

    I am sorry if this is posted allready!

    Introduction:
    You might know of Alkali Metals? They tend to separate water to oxygen and hydrogen and heat up so much that the hydrogen explodes.
    What about this is minecraft, just making it an unnaturally bigger explosion?

    How to get:
    Sodium(lets use that only, to not use too many alkali metals yet) rarely appears pure, so you will need to separate something to get it. Actually it is as simple as separating salt(NaCl), so lets say you bake a water bucket(we don't mind if it is fresh water or salt water) and get the bucket and some salt in return. From here we need something else to separate them, like electricity(which isn't in minecraft). So we can craft a separator, which separates salt(or anything else) when powered by redstone. This takes quite a while and when it is done you get Sodium in item form. (The chloride suddenly appears to be gass we say).

    Block and Item form:
    When you first obtain sodium, you obtain it in item form(which means in a small amount). Now you need to craft it like how you make Glowstone.
    Where :GP: = Sodium
    :GP: :GP: :GP:
    :GP: :GP: :GP:
    :GP: :GP: :GP:

    And you will get the highly reactive block, it can explode in a little bigger radius since it is hard to obtain and you need water on any side of it to activate it.

    Separator:
    The separator is mentioned earlier might be obtained by crafting some gold ingots and redstone together?

    Introduction:
    Most people know what erosion is? It is when a fluid(commonly water) pushes away an object or a material.
    For minecraft, this will make rivers appearing slowly, creating a dynamic map.

    How it happen:
    Erosion will only appear from water when it is flowing, and will stop when the water can't erode the next block.
    When it has reached it's limit(flowing 7 blocks) it will try going downward. to prevent flowing holes through the map, we can say it can't erode anything harder than stone. So the materials that is being eroded is :gravel:, :soil: and :sand:.
    It will try going downward at all the blocks, but the chances are small untill the limit is reached.
    The erosion will happen in one direction when it is started, so when beginning eroding it won't erode any other side creating a hell of water, but it will also begin expanding the width of the river it erodes.

    Caves:
    When you see a cave in the real world, it has sometimes appeared from erosion, we may add chalk to Minecraft and chalk may be highly affected by erosion, I won't tell more about chalk, as it's not mainly for this topic.(just wanted to add this, cause of fun :biggrin.gif:)

    Yes, I've never comed across any apples yet, only in multiplayer as i spawn it for myself.

    I would like it to be some trees naturally growing apples and the leaves will drop apples in a time gap between 10-15 mins. When you destroy it, the leaves will drop a seed/sapling(in a rate lower than normal sapling drop?) for new apple trees. To see the difference between the normal three types and the apple tree, it will have some red spots inbetween the leaves.

    Yes

    Obsidian tools won't ruin the game, if you don't like it, don't use it.
    And the sword should take somewhat more damage, as obsidian can get very thin and sharp.

    I was thinking about hedges the other day and thought of posting a suggestion about it, I'm sorry if this is allready posted!
    Note: this is also my first topic/post in this forum :biggrin.gif:

    Hedges will be found on grass.
    They will grow like reeds and cacti (more than three high?), but only if there is a water source nearby.
    The hedges will be able to walk through (or not?) but will slow you down significantly.
    You gather them by your hand, but it will take some linger time than leaves to gather them, you can also use swords to gather and the sword will be destroyed twice as fast.

    Trying to figure out how the hedges will look like, but they won't look like this though!!!
