My only problem with this is using the shoulder buttons as the scroll wheel. It's the only logical way to do it in my opinion, but it doesn't smoothly move from one item to the next, rather it jumps around like freaking crazy. Granted I'm using a different program, but I would imagine it would be the same as whatever you guys are using. Anyone else had this problem and figured it out? At the moment I simply have some buttons mapped as keys 1-8, but I don't have a free button for 9 which kind of sucks.

I just found out I was using 9.7.1, so I downloaded the newest version, but it's still not working.

I'm trying to use the modloader version. I've tried dragging and dropping everything into the jar, and it replaces the "gui," "lang," and "net," folders and then minecraft won't even load. I get the screen that says "Updating Minecraft," and the loading bar doesn't fill all the way. It is clearly interfering with those files because everything that is in those folders is getting deleted. The folders in the zip file only have the stuff the mod uses, so when they delete everything else nothing works.

Tell me the crash log, i will try help you

Well it depends on how I try to put in the files in the "move" folders.

    Am I supposed to:
    1. Replace the gui, net, and lang folders?
    2. Take the "move" folders and put them into the existing gui, net, and lang folders?
    3. Take the files from the "move" folders and paste them into the other folders? (When I do this it screws up the language on the menu, and my crosshair is replaced by the little lightning bolts and my health is replaced by the arrows normally used for the charged jump.)

I just need some directions on how to install. If you could give me some more specific directions I can try to get it to work, and if it doesn't I can post the crash log.

If you think it'll help, I can post the most recent crash log:

Still no luck for me. I switched to Optifine but I still don't know where the files in the "move" folders are supposed to go. All I get is a bunch of crashes.

I try for hours to get this mod to work because it's my favorite, but no other mod gives me any trouble with installation.

Bro most things aren't compatible with mcpatcher. Switch to optifine, it has an hd texture fix within itself and increases framerate.

Cool, thanks dude. I'll see if I can get it working later today.

This is my number one must favorite mod. With this and Timber, I'm set. Sometimes I try other mods, but this is the one I like the most. My problem is that I can't seem to get it installed correctly. I've only ever gotten it right twice ever, played for a good while, and then when Minecraft gets an update, I can't get it working again.

I've started with a MC Patcher patched vanilla .jar, added Modloader, added Player API, then tried every possible way I could think of to get this to work, including the way it's "supposed" to be done, and most of them result in Minecraft crashing, while some result in the game playing as if I don't have this mod installed at all.

Here is my question: where do you put the stuff inside the "move" folders? Because replacing the gui, lang, and net folders altogether crashes it, moving the "move" folder into each of the corresponding folders crashes it, and taking all of the files out of the "move" folders and placing them in the corresponding folders and replacing the other files ALSO crashes it.

And yes, I have deleted META-INF.

Is this mod incompatible with MC Patcher? If so I just won't use any texture packs that require it.

Other than that, I can't see what I'm doing wrong. I think the directions are left a little vague, and the videos provided don't include how to install with Modloader, just the standalone.

I just want to use this mod. Any help would be appreciated. I'm using a Mac, but I know how to install mods and have done it with other mods many times before. This is the only one that has given me any trouble.
