Jun 16, 2014Jigglysaint posted a message on EULA Revisited: an Updated Q&A From MojangWhat about offering out of game perks, like a VIP forum or perhaps access to maps or strategy guides? How about having special secret recipes that anybody can access, but a donator could have access to out of game information? It would give them an advantage, but it would not nessicarily be game-locked content.Posted in: News

Wait, that does exist, right? If it did, those would be the girls you wouldn't want to rub the wrong way.Posted in: News

Mar 28, 2014Jigglysaint posted a message on Minecraft Convention Scams - What You Need to KnowLast year the Bronies(yes the Bronies) had a con that promised them the moon, but ended up being a terrible scam. Even worse, many of the show staff that attended, including John DeLancie, didn't even get paid. The venue also was demanding payment and was illegally charging people with extra hotel rooms in hopes to recover money. Some of the guests even had to start their own charity stream just to help people who were stranded to get home.Posted in: News
That seriously gets me really angry that people would stoop so low to take advantage of the Minecraft community like that. Haven't been here long, but it does seem like a nice community. At least it seems better than some other fandoms at times. Hey wait, can't Mojang sue this guy? -
Jan 9, 2014Jigglysaint posted a message on Snapshot 14w02a Ready For Testing! YAY!I know that the water thing is a bug, but what if it was made a game rule or something? In fact, what if you could use commands to change the data for things like if water finds the lowest point or not, and how many blocks water will flow before it stops. Same with lava. Can you even imagine what kind of craziness could exist if you could manually change the effects of liquids?Posted in: News

Realms is busted for me too.

I'm getting the same timeout issue. It's got to be on minecraft's end because I have no other connection issues with any other service.

I am having a similar problem. I can download 1.8.8 just fine though.

One thing that would be hilarious though, would be if MS does make modding illegal, and goes after certain community members in a lawsuit. Then Notch comes in with his billions and defends them. That would never happen, but it would be ironic to have MS be counter-sued using money they themselves once had.

A major contributing factor to why the agreement must be accepted might have to do with the backlash from that one Minecraft con, Meeting of the Mines, which was totally BS and a horrible display of the Minecraft brand. This is Mojang's answer to that. It makes perfect sense really.

I would support the idea as a mod, but for pure vanilla.

You know if you can attempt to teleport to it, you already have chests on in which you can just go into spectator mode with a potion of night vision and x-ray it. As for why this works, my guess is when you enter the command, you can optionally skip entering your name since I think the game auto targets you if no name is given. Pretty sure that it wouldn't work in a command block.

My point is that it doesn't work if you specify your own name. Actually if you specify your name, but leave everything else blank, you teleport to yourself.

You have to leave the player name blank. To teleport to a cow, all you need is "/tp @e[type=Cow]" Nothing else. What will happen is you will teleport to every cow within the loaded chunks, and you will stop at the last cow on the list. You can try this too with chests inside minecarts or dropped items. Also this is 1.8 latest snapshot only. Not sure if it works on earlier snapshots or not.

You are wrong. Villager should have a capital "V". Also interesting enough is you need to not use the player name for it to work. You can send a mob to your location just fine, but if you reverse it, it won't work. That's why I wonder if it's a bug.
