are you just going to skip 1.3.1 and go to 1.3.2? if so is it possible if you a modloader version? i know i asked before but all my other mods run on modloader and when i take those out and put in forge they dont seem to work. and they dont run together either, i was wondering if there was a way to run this with forge and modloader installed without any problems.

I play with quite a few other mods installed as well (around 29 in total right now). Plenty of these require Modloader and/or AudioMod, but work fine for me with the newer versions of Forge. The problem you're experiencing could be that you need to do a clean install by installing Forge and your other mods on an unmodified copy of the Minecraft .jar.

Currently the only ways to get a copy of the .jar for 1.2.5 would be if you have a spare backup copy of it on your computer or a storage device, or to use the MCNostalgia tool to downgrade from 1.3.2 to 1.2.5.

Once you're back to a clean copy of 1.2.5 you should be able to reinstall your mods and have them work.

I'm really having trouble installing the new version of this mod. I backdated my minecraft to 1.2.5 and I follow the instructions given above to install the mod but all I get is a black screen. I guess the instructions at the top are too vague for me and I was wondering if someone could kind of explain each one more to see if I'm doing it right? or give me a link to something that does just that?

In short, I need help installing the new version of the mod and I feel like I don't understand where everything goes. help?

Were you using the MCPatcher installation method? The current version of the guide includes visuals to make it easier to follow along with the steps. That method should guarantee that you receive a error/crash report if the game gives you a black screen.

I was showing some mods to my brother the other day and started showing him the RC helicopter from the RC Mod. As lifting off and beginning a flyover through a scenic hilly area I quickly came upon a majestic bum urinating from atop the peak of a steep hill.

Me: …and to your left you can see a majestic bum urinating…
Brother: We are not including that mod in our ' class='bbc'>server!
Me: But it's alright. He's part of the… natural cycle of things, or something. Look, he's making flowers grow!

I can't. It just stays on a black screen nothing happens.

Have you tried the MCPatcher installation method? The walkthrough is on the More Creeps & Weirdos forums.

I stickied your new guide - should i delete the old one?

I've gone ahead and saved a copy of the contents for the old version, so it should be safe to delete the old guide now to prevent confusion.

It took longer than expected, but the guide for using MCPatcher to install More Creeps & Weirdos (and the required mods) is now up to date.

If you're having trouble installing the mod you can view the guide here.

Hey but could you please make it a .zip file because i have no way of opening it because i have a old mac and i dont know if unrarx is a virus also it has no app store this would make a lot of people happy if you know whats right you will

I tend to be on the overly cautious side when downloading any software, so I did a good deal of investigating before trying unrarx out. The program has a remarkably large following and I've seen nothing but good reviews for the program itself. With the number of people who have reviewed it on various sites it there would be plenty of reports available online if there were any viruses in it.

Plus I've already scanned it a few times before to verify that it's clean.

The only other option would be to pay an arm and a leg for brand name software (some of which requires you to also pay a monthly fee to continue using) just for one feature out of the whole package.

Overall, unrarx is pretty good for older Macs and Mac users who don't want to pay for an expensive program with loads of tools they'll never use. It's remarkably small (2.5 mb once it's unzipped) and only has one feature.

does anybody know why my mines are scattered with random wool discolorations?

Those are left behind by disco moles. When they move around the block they are currently standing on will rapidly change between different colored blocks of wool (giving the impression of disco dance floor). Normally the block will revert to whatever it originally was before the mole walked on it, but sometimes it doesn't.

I suspect that this is a bug related to the disco mole despawning, similar to how some digbug holes do not get filled when the digbug despawns.

What version of archive utility are you using (I use 10.6)?

I'm guessing that their system is version 10.5.x (or there about). Before 10.6 the archive utility on Macs was a little more awkward to use (in my experience).

If that's the case, then they will need to go through a multitude of steps to open the .jar, edit the contents and then close it back up. There could also be further issues with how the META data needs to be handled due to differences between operating system versions. (That's what caused me to switch to using MCPatcher to install mods on Mac since it eliminates those problems).

can a fully grown shclump give me a life gem i really need one! please reply.

It might be possible. I've never really compiled any sort of list of things they have given me. Usually they provide me with cash, rayguns, army gems, foodstuff, etc. However, I suppose that it could be possible for them to provide life gems too.

Your best option would be to save up some cash and buy one from Sal though. Tombstones seem to last a while (possibly indefinitely), so you should have time to get one from Sal as long as the area the tombstone is in is safe.

The troubleshooting portion of updating the MCPatcher installation method guide is done now. Turns out there were very few issues with the move over to Forge 3.3.7.

I should have the guide updated later today or tomorrow.

Can someone please help me. I have everything to make this mod run. I've played on it so I know it works. The only thing I can't do is drag and drop the "resources" file from the MoreCreepsv2.59.rar it's like it refusing to go. I've tried almost everything. Any one who helps gets a free pig! :D :Pig:

You will probably need to place the 'resources' files manually then. The MCPatcher installation guide on the More Creeps & Weirdos forums include a walk through for this. Although it was intended for Mac users, it should work fine for PC users too.

The update to the MCPatcher installation method guide is coming along nicely. So far the issues I was worried about are largely non-existent.

For general purposes the current version of the guide will work fine as long as you skip the parts for ModLoader and Audiomod and instead install the latest version of Forge. Just be sure to back up your saved worlds first (if you want to keep them) and delete the minecraft directory folder so you can download a fresh one like you would normally do when installing mods on a clean copy of the game. It is also good to run the game once after installing Forge so it can create the 'mods' folder for you.

Once I finish troubleshooting the installation methods with the remainder of the mods I use I'll be able to start on the visual and written portions of the updated guide.

I'll be doing another update to the MCPatcher installation method walk-through for More Creeps & Weirdos sometime this weekend (hopefully).

The guide has been a little out of date since the move to Forge 3.3.7 since the new Forge removes the need for ModLoader and Audiomod when installing More Creeps & Weirdos. For anyone needing help with installation who looks at the current version of the guide, the method should be essentially the same though (just skip to the Forge part).

Right now though, I am going to look into possible compatibility issues in the MCPatcher method for when other mods (that don't rely on Forge, but use ModLoader) are also being used. I don't suspect that it will be too big of an issue, but I just want to be on the safe side and save others (and myself) some grief with installing other mods with this one.

    hey could you make
MORECREEPS & WEIRDOS a .zip file please

There is one. It's just inside the .rar file that the mod comes in so as to alleviate some of the confusion that some players have with which contents go where when installing.

The .rar file should be easy enough to open if you are using a PC since there are so many tools available on PC for opening .rar files.

If you're a Mac user then you have fewer options available (unless you want to pay an arm and a leg for brand name software). However, there is a free tool available for Mac users called "UnRarX". It comes very highly recommended and the file size of the tool is extremely small since it is designed for only one task: opening .rar files on a Mac.

I seem to recall it being listed as an independent film series of sorts that is based upon the Slenderman mythos. Unless I'm mistaken, the DVD of the series sold by the creators is said to come with behind the scenes material too.

I'm greatly relieved by some of these latest bug fixes. Hopefully I won't be finding deserted Digbug holes everywhere due to them despawning or dying like a Non Swimmer. It's also nice to no longer worry about ponies being into extreme S&M that frequently ends in deaths.

Without a crash report there isn't much we can do to help. Have you tried using the MCPatcher installation method?
