You may have decompiled with an earlier version of MCP. To fix the recompile error for in the server.jar you now need to delete lines 520-555.
Also, your text cited for removal includes one extraneous curly brace. Deleting this brace then adding another results in a non-change and a resulting error. May I suggest removing that last brace?
**Edit: All is working well for me now. Thank you for this tutorial.
Yes, You created a Mods folder in mcp/temp/bin/minecraft to put all your texture in. But to make it works, you have to create de same exact folder in mcp/jars/bin/minecraft.jar. So you just have to copy your "Mods" folder.
Thank you. I will keep banging my head at it until either it works or, more likely, the API comes out and changes modding for 1.3.
I've tried your block tutorial. However, blocks don't spawn in-world for me, nor do they appear on the creative menu. *Shrug* No errors.
Maybe it's me. I tried x2Robbie2x tutorial on youtube as well and had the same exact problem.
Also, this sentence is a bit ambigous:
Modloader.addOverride is the texture and where can we find it. You have to put your texture (16 by 16) in mcp/temp/bin/minecraft and create a new folder called Mods to put all you texture in it. Copy this folder...
Does "this folder" mean the mods folder I've created or the entire mcp/temp/bin/minecraft directory?
None of the content pack recipes are working for me. I can see and construct the special crafting tables from the base mod and that's it. I have Flans mod, simple parts and modern weapons in the mods/ folder.

Any ideas?
Also, why is the flan version number listing 1.0 when I have 1.1 installed? It's hard enough getting mods working without having mismatched version numbers.
Wow, an SMP 4096 fix! Thank you heaps Jsn_man! Hearthcraft is working well so far on my multi server.

I'm on wnidows and got 1.2.3 server working with Varka's advice. By creating a mods/ folder in the root (C:) I could see (in the console) it was generating ruins. However, it then crashes with the same index out-of-bounds error stated above. I am using Trees++ which adds biomes which (apparently) results in it crashing.
I assume 1.2.4 would also crash but I can't get it working.
Alright well I redownloaded everything and put all the mods in and still nothing, am I the only one with this error cause I'm sure I put everything where it should go and I'm not retarded...
Thanks for your help. I've tried .59, .64, and a whole variety of older ones going back to 1.3.3.12; no luck. Could you perhaps elaborate on that "installed properly" part? I saw two conflicting responses to my initial inquiry, so, is forge added to the mods folder or extracted to the jar (talking about server of course)? Additionally, on the server, you do not delete the META-INF folder (as opposed to deleting it on the client)?
Be sure to use ModloaderMP server edition as well as Minecraft Forge server edition for you server. They are diffferent from the client editions.
For server:
1.unpack ModloaderMP server > minecraft_server.jar
2.unpack Forge server > minecraft_server.jar (overwrite if prompted)
3. run the server once
4. drop all redpower zips (7 total) into your mods folder in the server directory, not the .minecraft directory
Do not delete meta-inf for server.
Run again and see what happens.
Also, this is the wrong thread to post in. It's not a redpower issue. There is a forum for using modloader et al

Thank you. I'm looking forward to it. Hearthcraft in SMP = Nirvana.

Re-read the thread. It's not that long.

I've found that the berry shrub population is unsustainable due to their low sapling drop rate. Could you boost the drop rate or somefink?
Also, the lumberjack ability is crashing me in SMP with bucket tree.

2 questions:
1)I have flashing\scrolling message saying "Cam 1 Alt:100 Dmg:0%....etc." Is that from your mod and how do I fix it?
2)Would it be possible to have a parking brake installed so they don't slide all over the place when grounded?
Thanks!
