Hello and welcome to a custom map i've been working on for awile now. This is a perfect map if your looking for a map to play with your friends or even by yourself. This arena has 10 different rounds with each round getting a little harder and with more difficult mobs. In the arena there are four chambers where mobs will spawn and inbetween each round theres is a rest phase where the chambers close and you get a little break. There is also a score board that keeps track of what round your on. If you happen to die and your teammates are still battling there is a spectater area above the battle zone where you can help your team by shooting mobs. Lastly once everyone has either died or beat the arena there is a reset switch that will reset the game for you.
There are 3 versions of this map and each depends on how many people your playing with. The higher the version the harder the arena is and the more people you should have on. If you want more of a challenge either increase your difficulty or change your version. Having trouble completing round 10? See the tips at the end of this topic. This map will work with any version of minecraft after the 1.3.2 version.

Rules- No destroying blocks, No placing blocks, Play on at least easy (unless your resetting), Don't take anything from dispencers, and don't use any hacks, cheats, mods, etc.

I think when you hurt or kill a villager the other villagers might not trade or give you good trade items.

It takes 14 book shelves for the highest enchantment.

I wonder if large biomes could increase the size of nether fortresses.

I like the writable books cuz now its easier to make dialog in custom maps.

Could be something with your internert connection and how good your computer runs.

EDIT: the last half of video didn't work removing link and rerecording

I got to round 7 playing solo on version 2. I died cuz those cave spiders kept jumping around poisening me, so they were quite hard to land a hit on them. I also noticed when I shoot my bow the arrow goes like 3 feet then drops, but what I was aiming at gets hit, is this just me?

I passed round 10 on version 1 on normal difficulty. I was playing solo when my diamond sword ran out on round 10 so I had to run, use splash potion, then run. Great map!

Some of us regret the lack of a down vote button. Of course then likely my rep would probably be half what it is given how my opinions sometimes seem to **** people off. I don't care about rep other than I take it as an indicator that I was either helpful or my opinion was appreciated.
