    the only issue I know that was there ever since was animals disappearing but they said they already fixed it. Max view distance on realms is probably 8 chunks. My realm have been running for quite a while now but I never had this issue anymore nor boats disappearing and there are only 2 of us in a 10 player realm. Only issue my friend is having is his items disappearing from the inventory when switching to phone and his laptop.

    its not that. Its the code that's running in a loop that affects performance. More loops more computation and more computation means less frame rate. I may be wrong though since they never state add much information in the wiki about PE and WIN10 tick. Hard to tell since random tick happens every 0.05 second and this may hog performance depending on the task.

    Yes MCPE and WIN10E are the same code but both are compiled different. Win10E uses metroapp which means it would be difficult to attach debuggers to find function address and do a function hook. Its not IMpossible but someone with better knowledge than me should be able to do it. I do game modding for games with DLL injection. And injecting DLL to metro applicatuib ain't that easy unless you copy the DLL into system32 folder or sign you application. Even with IDA pro its not easy to debug without using a decent debugger like olly just to look for a certain fuction and modify or call it using a user code. But starting something like this compromises game play as it will spread another shitty hack clients where every kids starts cheating in the game and destroy game play. Modding to improve or expand gameplay is a GO. But using it for shitty kids to cheat is a No No.

    yeah. that's how it is in PE/WIN10. I don't really mind it being that long to grow since I can enchant fortune shovel to fill some grass or leave it to grow when and just do other stuffs. I think random tick happens less often compared the java version reason why it takes longer to update. This is for game optimization on mobile devices.

    Is it possible to edit the block shape of certain blocks using resource pack just like the java version? I like to add something on the leaves just like the TIPS parameter in java version. Or is there a trick to use your own geometry using json. Thanks!

    Just a thread for a compilation of my builds on the realms I joined for MCPE and Windows 10 Edition.


    Spawn build. Starting hut with wheat farm, horse stable, and my very ugly and very first custom tree.

    When I find my fist spawner in the map and decided I'll make a simple xp farm.

    Before:


    A whole day later. That's why I hate doing something simple. I tend to not like it and work on it the whole day.


    Updated my hut's roof and added a smith house with functional auto smelter.


    Made it clean from the inside and with only one chest visible which is the output chest. Input chest is behind the fire and just throw coal directly in to the fire to refuel. Fuels and materials are evenly distributed to 2 furnaces, built to work with MCPE or windows10 edition.

    OK to make things clear and stop a someone from posting irrelevant answers which doesn't answer anything. Reason why PE shaders resource pack doesn't work on windows 10 edition is because windows 10 uses a different shader. inside your resource pack in shaders folder you'll see a folder nade dx11. Windows 10 shader goes in this folder and uses DirectX shaders while PE uses OpenGL shaders. And the reason for this is because PE uses OpenGL and Windows10E uses DirectX11.

    Question:

    seriously, why do they not work. I really want to play with some legit shaders man



    Answer:

    The reason the PE edition shaders do NOT work with the Windows 10 version is even though they are identically the same version , the PE android and ios version use OGL ES for tablet and cellphones ps4 wii u switch , the windows 10 and xbox 1 version use dx 11 HLSL shaders. You would need to convert the GLSL to HLSL and they should work. And Blaze Windows 10 version supports mods... It just uses them as MCPACK files.


    FYI. Next update will be more of cross-platform compatibility and not the why PE shaders won't work on windows 10. When they say better lighting they mean fix for some of the lighting issues in current version and build in shaders that works for for all platform but allow players to use shaders from resource pack on top of the built in once. And we do use the word Obsolete when it comes to gaming industry thus there won't be a version for ps3 and 360.

    • I only join realm with adult players or players mature enough to know that destroying someone else's work is not fun. Second I'm a hard core survival player who loves to play and build on a vanilla hard mode and your realm is perfect for my taste. 3rd, I hate using armors except for feather falling boots. I'm a guy who likes both redstones and building. I like looking at someone else's work just as much as how I love to build mine. I heard that the last realm I joined is about to close so I need a realm to spend my free time with.

    Can i join. I'm over 20 and love play and build. I'm a win10 user though but hope you'll let me in. FB is wrekWIRED.jay22 and my GT is ImJerah. And please no flying trees in realm. I tend to find allot of it in all realms I join including my own. :P

    My friend did have the same issue on his laptop and phones since he use to tether his mobile data to connect on both. He said it didn't let him connect at first but after how many times of trying he finally was able to connect on our realm.


    EDIT: Not sure if this is in PE though. But you can go to settings>Profile and from there you can enable use Mobile Data. Maybe that will fix your problem.

    glad it works. will change it's position later when I get home. to always keep it on including in realm just turn it on in global resource.


    UPDATE: Edited the coordinates pack. It will now display at the top right corner instead of the top left corner. That way it won't overlay with your chat.

    be sure to delete the old one to make sure it doesn't conflict with the new one.

    if you mean you world from win10E to PE the just copy the files from the win10E save directory C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MinecraftUWP_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\games\com.mojang\minecraftWorlds to your PE world directory which the the SD/games/com.mojang/minecraftWorlds. it should work fine if your using both 1.0.3 version of the build. not sure if you use 1.0.4 on PE though since PE gets updated first before win10E which is currently at 1.0.3. Only time it doesn't work is when you use save file below versions 1.0
