    Fine, but fair question, do you have any contact with any modders?
    I would've taken the liberty to learn moding myself (always wanted to) but I can't juggle it with my studies as well :(

    Wouldn't it be reasonable to make it more durable than iron?
    like, 2 Iron ingots = 1 steel ingot, 2 steel ingots = 1 stainless steel ingot?
    steel is about 1,5% more durable than iron and 0,5% faster than iron, stainless would be would be 2% more durable than iron but only 0,75% faster?

    or in easier therm; better than iron pickaxe, still not better than diamond pickaxe?

    I am not making this, or I might just as well learn to code and program since I've always wanted to do it, but if there are any skilled modders out there who think they are able to take this task, I'll gladly let them do it, I just request that they credit me for actually giving them the idea

    I would love to see a mod similar to the Zeppelin mod, however I would like to see it as a more technical mod, not just place one block and you're good to go, I was thinking more around adding engines, fuel types, specially designed blocks for the aircraft's (if submarines are possible, add those to)
    That would be cool.

    This mod is a somewhat related mod to the Zeppelin mod, but with a more technical twist to it so it doesn't feel so much as cheating as achieving

    so here are my basic ideas


    Flying compatable blocks0 = any type of block
    X = Iron ingot (or something else, like making 16 screws out of one block of iron or using iron nuggets?)

    0|X|0
    X|0|X = [name of block used] Aircraft block
    0|X|0

    Each recipe makes 4/8/16 blocks pr. time (depends on rarity of block and reasonable costs)

    Gearbox System: the main idea behind this is that when you feel your ship is finally ready, but it does not quite give you the power or whatever you need, the Gearbox will help you out, adding different gears into the game with different abilities, such as the EnderGear allows the ship to jump a certain distance in what ever location the player would want it to jump. Diamond Gear would increase defense of the ship etc. etc.

    Main componets (compatable with all tiers)Controll block: operates as your wheel
    Ship Checker: Controlls any mailfunction of damages to the ship
    Block Counter: Counts all blocks and merges them together, to make sure that the ship is ready to go
    Ship Blue Print table: Gives you an grid with an overview of the ship, allows you to change layers makes it all around easier and more fun to build the ship, should give the player full accesability to watch ship from every side so they're able to make their ship without feeling restrained
    Ship Builder: When given blueprint, this worker will start building the ship, it will take blocks out of nearest storage unit (such as a chest)
    Ship dis-assembler: This guy when given order will pick ship apart and output all blocks into connected storage unit

    Tier 1: Steam punk; only able to fly with Wooden, Cobble, Glass, Planks Aircraft Blocks
    Fuel Source: all sorts of vanilla fuels such as coal etc. etc.

    Steam Pipe: Transports steam from steam machine to steam engine
    Steam Machine: basic function is to make steam which goes over
    Steam Engine: is powered by steam from the steam machine, either by tube connection or by going directly into each other, each engine alone can move 8 blocks
    Propeller: When attached to the Steam Engine makes flight possible

    Tier 2: Present Engines; Allows Tier 1 blocks + All types of Stone, Iron Blocks, End Stone blocksFuel Source: Liquid Fuels

    Fuel tube: Transfers fuel from tank to engine
    Fuel Tank: Stores fuel
    Thrust Engine: when fueled is capable of flight, each engine alone can move 16 blocks
    Smart Thrust Engine: Use less fuel than standard engine, is however more expensive to make

    Tier 3: Future/SciFi-Tier: Capable of flying with all sorts of blocksFuel Source: power crystals

    Power Crystals: New power source is discovered, these rare stones contains powers beyond any other sources reach, capable of recharging themselves in a couple of days when fully drained, these gems are also capable of being combined with other crystals which will add more power to one crystal, also increases recharge ability.
    Crystal Pedistal: When crystal is placed, the pedestal extracts it's energy.
    Ionic Thrusters: These powerful engines are able to move 32 blocks alone.

    Weapons: Now, one thing is to actually have a flying aircraft, but when dangers appear, what will you protect yourself with?
    Adding missiles, lasers, railguns, energy blasters etc. etc. and shielding systems to your ship would leave the players busy for quite some time making their ship as powerful as possible

    To The Skies! [New dimension] The main idea behind this place is a place where the aircrafts can roam more freely, would be nice to have an area with flying islands but islands that are not so close to each others leaving space for people to be able to fly freely, the islands should be rather big and feel natural and exciting so that players would want to explore them

    So today I rented a server at Redstonehost and wanted to install FML and some other mods to it like RedPower2 etc. etc. just wondering... how do I do this?
    if it's impossible it would kinda blow, but I'll survive.

    but if anyone knows how to do this I would love to hear your method, I'm using Filezilla btw.

    I know I should be more patient but... Elo said "only a few bugs left"... what gigantic bugs are they?!?! =( I want to play around with RP... it makes Minecraft enjoyable again
