Arcadia is a small medieval-themed server with plugins such as iConomy, mcmmo, CraftBook, etc.
We also have Freezone, where you can build anything unrelated to medieval.
Most of the players are from SE Asia, including myself, but the server is located in Los Angeles, CA.
So if you like to build huge medieval buildings or project, this server might be the one for you.
We have a few rules:
- Respect other players.
- No grieving/stealing.
- No random 1x1 holes/towers.
- You can only mine outside the city.
- No weird buildings except in Freezone.
If you like to play in this server, kindly post your IGN and a reason why I should whitelist you.
Try Go-Networks.
I'm using their LA server. Me and most of my players are from Asia.
I could whitelist you on my server if you'd like to give them a try.
Could you please? I couldn't find any test servers on their site. My Minecraft username is muymra.

"We don't have a test server but I give you some IPs if you'd like. We have multiple nodes in multiple datacenters so a test server is rather pointless. Also, our dedicated customers have lag with mobs. It's a bug in the software."
GNS is my fourth host after being ripped-off by two of my previous hosts for teribble support and bad server.
In my second month with them, I'm pleased with everything.
And even though we're in Asia (thats 12.000 miles away) and the Internet connections here is awful, we've got almost no delay, one second at most.
About down time, in two months, we've had two outages in LA, each lasts for about 30-60 minutes if I'm not mistaken.
As for support, amazing. I've had all my questions answered, and as you can see here, they're very active.
I'm running Bukkit with a small map, 1000x1000x128, with 15 players online at peak hour,
mobs is turned on with Mob Control plugin.
So I don't know anything about performance with large maps and more players,
but I'm sure that depends on the plan you subscribe :smile.gif:

I'm sorry to hear that. What kinda CS treat their customer like that
I'm with Go-Networks, and I'm satisfied with their service.

Me and my lame internet connections are like 12.000 miles from their datacenter
and got almost no delay at all, 1 sec at most.
Also, AllGamer and MyMcServ have great reputation,
but I haven't tried them first hand since they don't have available Californian server.
Yes I would recommend looking at the Seeking and Offering forum and I believe XenonServers does not help you manage your server so if you encounter any problems you are on your own.
Actually, their support is pretty decent... Unfortunately, that's the only good thing about them.
I'm still waiting for Chicago.
Or if I rent a game server in Dallas, can you move it to Chicago when a space is available?
Sorry for the bad English.
We don't currently have any plans to open up anymore in Chicago for a little while. We've got a really good setup locked down in our other locations. We can move VPS', but it's a hassle.
I'm sure you have great setup in other locations, most of my friends recommended you, and thats why I'm really looking forward to rent a game server from AllGamer. But I also want the lowest possible ping, and Chicago California seems to be the right choice for me since the players are located in Asia :smile.gif:

If you're running Bukkit, try Mob Control plugin.

Nothing can go wrong with GNS.

Tried 3 different GSPs before, GN is by far the best.

At first, I thought I made the wrong decision, but nope, I'm satisfied.
As for the coupon code, try NY2011 for 20% off, or MCBETA for 15% off. I used the latter, since I didn't see the NY2011 promo :sad.gif:
