Well I now have a Skype as Jammer622.Actually... I think I've figured it out. Thanks for all your help, I'll reply to this topic or send a message or something if I need help again.
That would be really appreciated, just as soon as it finishes its 15 minute download. >.<MCP finished loading and I unzipped it, what do I do from there, wait for Eclipse to finish?
Wait... MCP is MCPatcher... My bad. Can you give me some pre-tips about using Eclipse?Oh god I was wrong again wasn't I... Minecraft Coder Pack. I really need to get more sleep, I can't even think sideways nevermind straight.
Hi, I'm sort of new to the forums and modding minecraft, so sorry if I'm doing this wrong.
I've been trying to make a mod following a popular tutorial, but I can't seem to get it to work right, and I'm pretty sure I know why, but I don't exactly know how to fix it. I've been writing my Java code via notepad, and have been saving it AS a .java, which is one thing I think I'm doing wrong, and when I've finished with all my coding, I've tried using the javac command in my command prompt, only to give me a list of errors with the coding that I couldn't figure out to save my life. Since that hasn't been working I've been trying to save my coding from notepad as .class files, which I'm more than sure is probably what I'm doing wrong. Can anyone reply with links to programs or something that I could write the coding in and help me with figuring out how to compile it afterwards? I would really appreciate it.
I'm having in issues with monster spawn, it does tons of flying whales and those annoying snow ball shooters. But no moas, no flying pigs, no slimes or arther plants will spawn for me.
I have done fresh start twice now and it doesn't fix the issue.
Can some please help?
It's because Aerwhales don't despawn and the Zephyrs (I think that's what they're called... I just call them Aether Ghasts.) have a spawn rate too high, so they both take up all the spawn slots and nothing else shows up.
So you're proud about using glitches and bugs for beating the bosses? :wink.gif:
Well technically beating the Gold dungeon wasnt a glitch, that was just because he was huge and I could punch the fireball minions... I used a dart shooter I got from earlier dungeons to shoot the iceball from a distance when he was moving behind it.
As for the bronze ones, how are we supposed to fix glitches if we don't find them first, right? :3
I remember I needed four tries for my first bronze boss because I ran out of pickaxes. And my first gold boss was devastating, I died so fast. :biggrin.gif:
But with the right strategy they are all beatable.
In all honesty, I never died. I was just trollin :3
They are all easy to beat if you know how, but the HPs on them should still be lowered a bit, nobody wants to punch something in the face for 3 minutes straight wondering when it will die.
For bronze, I do that tactic of jumping with gravite, letting it raise then lower, and then getting it stuck, I never have to move and can just hit in one spot the rest of the fight.
Silver, Uhh.... I... Ate alot... I think silver is harder than gold... I didn't die though! :biggrin.gif:
Gold, I just backed into a corner, instant invincibility, he's either too big to fit into the small area or his random paths and bounces don't put him too close to it, and for the minions, all you have to do is knock them away.
Ah, is that the problem? I'm using Misa's Realistic 64x. Apparently Sump's Arcane pack works with it, as I've seen on another computer, so I'll use that. Thanks.
I'm having an odd problem with this mod. Install works perfectly, but when I go into the aether, not only is the portal not textured, but EVERY aether block is not textured. The new inventory and everything shows up just fine, just the blocks are messed up. How do I fix this?
Wait so... Aerwhales are the laggiest mob when you look at them, and they don't despawn, AND there's about a million of them at a time? The only bugs I know of is that, the ghasts of the aether have a spawnrate too high, you have a 96% chance of beating a silver or gold dungeon without dying, 60% for bronze (Seriously, every boss mob is way overpowered, I've taken them down easy, but even for a boss, they have about 10x the HP they should, except Gold, that's fairly put in.), Sentries can get stuck on the side of a block by jumping up higher than them in gravite armor and letting them raise, and then having them drop down to the floor and running around in circles... Then theres a bunch of the other problems everyone else mentioned. Great mod, I actually did expect the first couple releases to have alot more glitches for something this size.
WOO! BRONZE DUNGEON! [Thump] NUUU

WOO! GOLD DUNGEON!.... Oh screw this I'm getting in the corner.
You literally have to be able to hold a hacked-in stack of infinite golden apples and a one-hit-kill sword that takes 50 hits to kill something just to beat a dungeon D:
Is there a way to disable Aerwhales in particular? Every time I get near one or stare at one within 100 blocks of it, my framerate drops about 90%, it's really annoying and get's me killed. Alot. :dry.gif:
