I remember when I caught my first shiny in Black 2.

    I went insane.

My first Shiny was the Red Gyarados in SS. I wish I could get a real shiny.

Anyways, what ways do you think Fairy type will affect the game? It's immunity to Dragon? Weaknesses?

Using it with Defiant is an interesting idea, but you could always just use a Pokemon that can boost its own stats instead of having to rely on other Pokemon.

I guess, but it would take 3 turns to do, since Defiant raises Attack by 2 stages for every stat drop.

    Quote from KaBling

    Right, here it goes:

In my classroom, the teacher decided to show a movie. It was Pokemon. It was also in Chinese (think a documentary voice - deep voice) with English subtitles. My heart started to feel weird after a while.

So anyway, only the intro was watched until I woke up sweating. There was Lugia, but he had a slightly longer neck and looked more vicious - there were more 'horns' sticking out. Basically, it was this stand-off between Ash on Lugia against a giant Slowking-like monster. Both used Hyper Beam. I also remember several other Pokemon on Lugia's back.

At that point, it felt so epic that my heart was feeling weird (hint: my family has a history of heart defects). Then I woke up sweating - my heart probably stopped beating or something.

Jesus that was one heck of a Pokemon dream. I'm scared.

I just had an idea. You know how the new move, Parting Shot lowers the opponents Attack/Special Attack by one stage, then the used switches out? Then how Inkay and Malamar have Contrary? Couldn't you use Parting Shot on Malamar to beef it up, then bring out some Pokemon to use Friend Guard while Malamar sweeps? Or you could use it on a Pokemon with Defiant, like Empoleon, or better yet Braivary, and have it's attack boosted by 4 stages?

    Roaming Pokemon are pretty annoying.

When you think your about to fight them, they teleport to the other side of the flippin' region.

    Quote from Vividkinz

Uh, couldn't you just catch a fast Pokemon that can learn a sleep inducing move and then just chase'n'pelt the roaming pokemon with quick balls?

    Quote from Trace500

To catch roaming Pokemon I just walk quickly between two routes until the Pokemon is in the same route as me, then I use a Repel and battle it for a turn before it runs. Once its lifebar in the red and it's asleep, I just use my turn to throw an Ultra/Dusk Ball at it until I capture it. I find it's not worth it to try and trap it in battle, especially since if you just let it run, it will never wake up.

Although the first time I put Mesprit to sleep and it still ran away, I was rather upset.

I'm never on the hype train (it helps when a game is disappointingly awful), but this is the worst disappointing game reveal I've seen ever.

They did say that it was a classic game played by millions.

But hey, one good thing came out of it. There is a horse in it that has a purple pompadour. AND SMOKES.

This makes so much of the sense. You know how the new evil Team, Team Flare want money? Well, this explains it.

It's a pretty long theory, but it's really well written.

EDIT: Remember that horse silhouette thing that Gamefreak teased with? It has nothing to do with Pokemon.
    It's horse-racing solitare. -_-

Maybe Psychic (Deoxys) or Normal (Porygon-Z)...

Technically Deoxys is an organic virus thingy, as it shows no sign of mechanics.

Maybe the new "Virus Pokemon" could be a Poison/Psychic? We've never seen that before.

    I want more digital Pokemon.

A legit glitch Pokemon (other than Porygon Z) would be awesome. Maybe something based off of a trojan virus?

    Pokemon Harvest Moon.

    Pokemon Harvest Moon

    POKEMON HARVEST MOON.

Just the thought makes me want to toss money at Nintendo.

Soritiba, the name associated with the pic, translates to some horse breed. I forgot which. It looks a lot like this character from an old anime, Zatch Bell.

    Found this on Serebii.
The official GameFreak website has posted a strange picture of a silhouette with a caption noting that "the well known game, played all around the world, is about to be reborn thanks to a surprising collaboration". Now, this may not be regarding Pokémon, but rather another franchise that GameFreak is now working with, so don't take this as Pokémon at this time, but we'll bring news as and when it comes
Edit @ 07:30: It has been found that the URL includes the term Soritiba ソリティ馬, which was a trademark registered last year by Gamefreak

Perhaps it's Pokemon Harvest Moon? Or maybe it' the new franchise Nintendo was talking about?
