    Hi there!
Are you looking for the modern type of roads in cities? Or the old medieval ones you would come across in villagers?

Just some tips I use to improve my roads:

    Modern:

    - Add a sidewalk

    - Try working with different blocks than always black, such as gray with white lines or pink with white lines. The use of different colors can make a big difference

    - Add modern streetlights at the sides or at the middle of the road.

    - You could place iron bars at the sides to act as a guardrail

    Medieval:

    - Mixture different blocks in one road, some different blocks I like to use are: Gravel, Cobblestone, (stairs - slabs) and Andesite or the Path blocks, Podzol and Coarse dirt

    - Like said in the tip before mix in some stairs and slabs to make it look like the path is old and cracking a bit.

    - Add medieval streetlights every now and than.

    - Don't let it go straight, make it go from the right to the left. As long as it curves alot.

    - If you are making a town that has been overgrown add some leaves on the sides of the road every now and then).

This were the things I could come up with for now. Hoping they are helpful!

    Greetings,

    Jelle

I try to use blocks to vary the roads but they end up looking out of place. Cyan terracotta and stone does look nice though.

I found that using gray colored beds for the sidewalks look great and the pillow part looks like a curb. The road itself would work great with concrete!

Thats actually a kind of smart. I will test it out soon!

Any ideas? I want them to be more than just coal blocks with a black line in the middle.

posted a message on Recommended Minecraft version for mods? Recommended specs for playing heavily modded Minecraft while streaming?

My specs are similar except mine contains a GTX 980 TI. I can play Resonant Rise 4 (biggest modpack afaik) with average 110 fps and 200-300 fps with optifine. Im currently playing RR4 with optifine and a 64*64 resource pack. I average 100 fps but can dip to about 20-50 whilst flying above land loading chunks. Not sure about streaming but I would expect maybe a 50 fps decrease.

posted a message on Is it possible to get a resource pack/shaders to make my minecraft look like this?
    -snip-

Really? I purchased it with paypal so it should work. It is just the default resource pack but each pixel has been edited with more detail, from about 5 blocks away you cant really tell the difference.

Bit hypocritical since after spending literally less than 10 minutes on your youtube channel I noticed that your using a cracked launcher & playing on cracked servers.

Surprisingly, yes! That is, to a certain extent. Your game does look pretty if you can sacrifice about 350 fps. w/ optifine installed I usually cap out at around 600 fps. With resource pack & shaders I get about 22 average fps. 28 max. I use a combination of Realistico and Contiuum shaders. Realistico features very nice textures, and Contiuum contains POM support designed to be used with Realistico. Feel free to use it if you wish, but it does require a major FPS sacrifice. I would recommend only using it for screenshots. Realistico does require to be purchased for 2.99 pounds(?) so if you really are determined go for that. I have left some screens below (not mine).IMO its not worth the FPS sacrifice so I use it only for screenshots

posted a message on What Texture Pack is This?

Also! If the texturepack wasn't made by him (the author), he needed to put credits!

If not, he will maybe put some credits soon.

Beacuse if he does not, he might get punished...

He doesn't need to credit the author of the texture pack unless he is specifically showcasing the texture pack or promoting it.

because it is incredibly hard. It is easy to get kills and easy to be killed. You can spend $5000 dollars on armor, grenades, and a sweet gun, then you die instantly because some player shot you from behind, with ONE SHOT from a pistol. And then you cannot even respawn. You have to wait. And wait. AND WAIT.

    Sounds like CS to me.

I know this sound stupid but wouldn't a modding API just stop updates from breaking mods besides things like ID clashes and such?

Sorry if this sounds stupid, just a random guess in the dark :)

i don't get why people hack. Its supposed to be a family friendly game where fun is the whole game. I wish minecraft servers that are ONLINE mode HAVE to be official minecraft versions FROM the minecraft version area and not like Wurst or LiquidBounce

To me, cheating makes total sense. I would understand cheating in minecraft. I remember playing Tekkit back in the day where I would be really bored if I played in creative but really bored if I did everything legit. I would always spawn in that one last diamond I need for the quarry or that one last block to finish my house because it was fun to me.

I DONT get PVP hacks though. What is the point to cheating besides getting good stats. is there a point?

Some mods do tech levels well. But some are horrendous. Items serve absolutley no purpose apart from crafting another item that does nothing by itself, unless you craft it with something else to make it useful. Applied Energistics 2 is a culprit with its processors.

Pink Sheep is one of the most cancerous channels on Youtube, although there are far worse.

The "budder" thing has definetly died out of mainstream Minecraft lingo, along with Skydoesminecraft, thankfully. Although I do see it from time to time.

IMO The "character" SkyDoesMinecraft is really annoying and mainly clickbait, though as a person, I honestly dont think he is that bad.
