So I posted a topic about a hippo mob and my thred got locked by a mod stating that it was a repeat. Of a Thread BUT that thread was 4 years old and had no comments SO I felt like that they were locking a active thread because a Unused OLD thread was better.
Some of my reasons Mojang should add hippos is because they could provide LOTS of meat but be difficult to kill making them a hard mob to kill but has a big payout of 6 Hippo meat (6 Beef) But they are not friendly like cows they would be Passive hostile (if you attacked them they would attack back) and they would spawn in deserts near water. Plus who doesn't want hippos? Say if you support this idea.
Vague, post more details but you do have my support because I would like this, but you will lose my support if you post something ludicrous like a ICBM (Plus there already is a mod for that)
The Badlands would be a biome that the surface would be made of gravel and stone. there would be no structures, only low hills, and very little caves. also, there would be increased mob spawns, and regional difficulty would increase a lot faster. the notable feature of this biome would be the increased diamond, and gold spawn rates. here is an example.

Diamond ore occurs in roughly 4.00% of stone from levels 4-20.
There is an average of 6.500 diamond ore per chunk.
Gold/Other Biomes
from levels 2-29, gold ore's occurrence underground is at 0.1437%.
On average there are 8.2 gold ores per chunk
Gold/Badlands
from levels 2-35, gold ore's occurrence underground is at 4.345%.
On average there are 13.5 gold ores per chunk
the chance of finding this biome would be 1.250% chance, and there would be no way you could spawn on it.
So good Idea wrong stats like someone else said the stats for Diamond spawns would be almost 10x more than you thought.

Well hippos are big so I was thinking they could do 4 hearts of damage if you were not wearing any armor.

Cons: Difficult to live in, food is scarce, living on it in peaceful would create a infinite diamond mine.
Pros: Easier to make mob farms.
So good Idea wrong stats like someone else said the stats for Diamond spawns would be almost 10x more than you thought.
