Most likely. try updating or downgrading, if you can.
I'm gonna try to downgrade one version below the latest 1.7.10 forge version later today. Ugh, I really hope this works. This is really frustrating for me.
UPDATE: It's not the Forge version. Something is wrong with my F/A and I need to find out what can be done to fix it. I KNOW that plenty of others playing 1.7.10 F/A's latest version have it working fine for them, so there must be a way to fix this.

the flip side is, is this mod even going to develop? Animania is growing fast, they just recently completed the basic animals, now they have more of the horses developed Lol. honestly in my opinion the only mobs worth working on now is birds/exotic birds. knowing that exotic birds from the past version will not update anymore. Lol. but truthfully animania beat them to this WIP project Lol. just my opinion incase some people gets mad. LOL
Actually no, since Animania isn't for 1.7.10. This mod IS for 1.7.10. Also, just my opinion of course, the models here are better.
You sure it's the forge version? With forestry back when I had 1448, it gave me a completely different message specifically saying that the forge version was the problem.
And if that bug does have anything to do with F/A, the fix would be in the 1.10.2 version since, as I mentioned before, the current version of the mod is the last 1.7.10 version that is ever going to be made.
Actually, since other people have F/A 1.7.10 working fine, it's obvious that there IS a fix ALREADY. I just need help finding it. I HAVE a crash report, I just need someone who can tell me what it means. I'm not a coder and I can't do myself.
Again, I came here to ask for help with a bug, not a bunch of irrelevant blabbing about updates.
If you want to use this mod in any point in the future, which involve many more kinds of dinosaur and time travel, you do. The current mod version is the last 1.7.10 version there is going to be, and if you want to spend four plus months working to make future versions compatible with 1.7.10, be my guest.
You completely misunderstand my problem. I have a CRASHING BUG that I need fixed, I'm not talking about doing anything with future updates.
I think that they will focus on getting the mod to MC 1.10 rather than fixing issues with old versions of forge which won't be used in the near future.
Actually, there a plenty of people who still use 1.7.10. I, in fact, can NOT update since many of my other mods won't update.
I deleted the configs already. I've also tried reinstalling the mods. I doubt reinstalling Minecraft will help since it works fine without the two mods.
Are there any download sources for the mods that you guys may have used besides the official Curse download? I've reinstalled from Curse like 50 times with no result.
Then I can't really help you. I can't seem to find anything in the crash report that references a mod, unless you have cpw's mods installed. Make sure you only have fossils and archaeology 7.3.2 and Llibary 1.5.1.
Also, are you getting the report from the minecraft launcher or the .minecraft crash report folder? It should be "C:\Users\your_user\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\crash-reports" (without quotes). Maybe that could tell us something else.
If it is from the .minecraft folder, then I really can't do much else. I'm just trying to help, but If nothing that i just said helps at all, It would be best if you downgraded forge, like I said. I won't hurt to try.
Both of the mods are unloaded, but what really confused me is that Llibary is error-ed. Maybe a newer version of the mod, or an older one, or a re-download, but my game runs fine with Llibary 1.5.1. Maybe it has something to do with this, or what I stated above.
Ok, so I've tried redownloading Llibrary but to no avail. I have the latest Forge version, 10.13.4.1614, btw.
This has probably got something to do with the newest 1.7.10 version of forge. make sure you use the recommended version, and if you are and the problem persists, try downgrading a few versions. I hope this helps.
I can't downgrade because it'll mess up my other mods.

1.7.10 isn't ancient. 1.2 is ancient, 1.7.10 is just old. I don't have to move on at all.
0
I don't have to make a choice if I can find a fix to the REAL problem; a bug or glitch in F/A.

I already use Forestry. Also, LOTR mod is still irreplaceable. No way I'm leaving that behind.
0
No there are not, unfortunately. LOTR mod and Binnie's mods are irreplaceable.

Actually, there a plenty of people who still use 1.7.10. I, in fact, can NOT update since many of my other mods won't update.

That needs to be fixed, then. 1448 is heavily outdated.
