Right now it is just like a mass extinction occured, leaving nothing but the wilderness. This idea is suggesting a world in which the landscape was decimated and everything (animals, plants, and even physical structures) are destroyed
Usually when you make an idea you should put some real time into it before posting.
You went from a gold fence, to a powered rail like construction, and then basically to the original recipe for a fence (sticks) which can be powered which doesnt make sense at all.
Ok you craft it like a powerd rail but instead of iron on the edges there are sticks when powered it like powered rails it powered for 10 blocks then you can add a lever to switch it on and of
uhhh, what? I don't think you understand your recipes for crafting at all.
...Impressive. Seems like it wouldn't be too difficult to implement. But the restoration requirements for chunks to be considered "restored" (lighting returns to normal) should be "floating", being fulfilled when any of the conditions are true (these are just suggestions, but they seem good to me):
100 Tall Grass
3 trees
1 large Jungle tree
50 flowers/roses
and so on.
This gives it the feeling of an actual adventure map...not just like a survival map with the post-apocolyptic elements.
It would look cool a fence that has sparks coming out of it
Clearly you didn't read what I said, take your time to write out a post which is full of details and good ideas. What you said didn't add anything to your idea and people are going to ignore anything you post if you continue like this.
Enchantment names are randomly constructed from the following list of words. Three to five words are chosen from the list and appended to each other, then displayed in the Standard Galactic Alphabet. Note that the names have no meaning and are not saved on the enchanted item (meaning they will tell you nothing about what the resulting spell will be), and they are only displayed in the Enchantment Table interface.
The following list of words contain all the possible enchantment words after deciphering.
the elder scrolls klaatu berata niktu xyzzy bless curse light darkness fire air earth water hot dry cold wet ignite snuff embiggen twist shorten stretch fiddle destroy imbue galvanize enchant free limited range of towards inside sphere cube self other ball mental physical grow shrink demon elemental spirit animal creature beast humanoid undead fresh stale
The letters on the enchantment table make up random words which do not have any relationship to what the enchantment is going to be. So unless this was changed to actually say what the enchatment is on the table you would get nothing helpful.
Also as said above...it is supposed to be a surprise and random.
Powered rails use redstone as well as gold ingots. And are you saying you need to use redstone torches underneath it or something to give it power?
How about instead of posting back in 5 seconds, take a minute or two to write out a longer post with more details so I and others know what you are really talking about.
It's for the iPod version and xbox version they need to give the Xbox version some thing the pc doesn't
That doesn't really make sense...why would they need different things from the PC version and why wouldn't it be in the PC version. You need to explain your ideas
Makes sense to have it be totally random...I rarely go back to the same seed multiple times though and go to the same location so I would have little to no use for it.
LIke stated above, killing an enemy with only 2 hits would be way overpowered. It takes 3 hits to kill a creeper with a diamond sword so I just can't see this being stronger since it is essentially a passive defense.
Also if you want people to consider the idea you would probably want to add how you would craft electric fences in the game.
How does that make it any different from the torch itself emitting the light? Just doesn't make sense. The lag would be caused by the constant change in all of the blocks illumination levele around you

If I make a fence out of gold then how does it magically become electric?
Still didn't address the fact about it being different from the PC version.

Just because people don't usually use signs as fuel, at least a sign makes sense as a fuel source because it can burn.
So does this mean that each use of the flint and steel could smelt/cook one item?
