I do like the idea of being able to have structurally sounds colored materials, but dye probably wouldnt be the most realistic way to color these items.

Sloped materials have been suggested quite often...doesn't seem like the majority of people are a fan of them. Being able to place the stairs upside down is an interesting thought though. Could make for some interesting architectural things but doesn't seem very functional.

And the problem with people playing on the xbox is.....?

Deff. a smart idea. It is such a pain to have them all separated so I would love to have a way to move everything back and forth in one trip.

This makes sense so realistically the only water levels which should potentially rise would be the small lakes/ponds and possibly the filling of holes in the ground. I think the physics of the water would likely need to be changed to accommodate the rising and falling of water levels in a realistic fashion since water levels will never jump the height of a full block .

Look around for a mod that allows you to write in the books. I haven't personally used since I don't really have a current need/want to write in books it, just have come across it while browsing.

There is a mod somewhere out there that auto replaces tools and stacked blocks or food items(comes in very handy).

Some of the ideas are cool like the vine ropes and ladders but a lot of the other ideas seem scattered and a bit random for the main concept that you suggest.

Tables and chairs are sorely missed in many of my buildings. Just missing that finishing touch that wold make it look like home :/

Could be fun to play around with I guess, but that's about it.

I know that there is a mod that I am planning on downloading when I get back to my home computer that adds stone fences to the game. Temporary fix for now if you don't want burnable fences...

As already stated, this has been suggested, but I find this fact really annoying as well.

Pretty sure there are like 1000 different mods you could choose from to get an obsidian tool set anyway...

I'm sure there are always going to be adds that people like and others don't. IMO having more animals, whether they add unique drops or not, adds depth to the game and makes it more realistic. For now though I am perfectly fine with the mod and having control which animals spawn and how many with the mod options.

So much for keeping ideas to ourselves, haha.

But yeah that isn't a well thought out idea.
