No support. It's expensive for what it does and fills an incredibly tiny niche, books generally don't need to be mass produced anyways.

posted a message on I think griefing is justice
    Quote from gonzoxl5

Griefing is, in all aspects, wrong, as it does bring anger and tears to those whom you do it to.

But my brother and I have found ourselves on servers where it is almost impossible to not live without having to. I don't agree with my brother being a pyromaniac and burning a whole forest because he saw a house in it. But it is a necessary evil in a world where being in the open kills within seconds, having no shelter is tantamount to suicide and walls are nothing in the grand scheme of things. Making people fear you is as important as finding a single slice of cake so you can run a little further.

On servers like these, you cannot make a rule that you won't, because sooner or later, your morals break down and you have to find some way you can justify to yourself why it is necessary.

But on servers where people are loving and kind, where the sky is blue (not green) and you don't live in fear of hearing that dreaded breaking-door sound, then you slowly rebuild your conscience. When you look across a landscape and see animals and flowers, instead of irradiated plains and diseased monsters, you can reflect on your evils and then, only then, can you mourn.

TL;DR: Not good ever, but sometimes it's necessary. Bringing someone to justice is not achieved through griefing.

That... is... BEAUTIFUL! Violence is a necessary evil, arson is an unnecessary evil.

According to Dinnerbone, it'll go as far back as Classic.

YES! I love seeing really old and in-development versions of things I have experienced before. (It's sorta a hobby of mine.)

Here is one thing I want to know, how far back will this eventually go? We can go all the way back to alpha at this point, I would probably implode if we could Thyme Masheen our way back to the EARLY early days. It will be interesting where this goes and where it ends.

I hate how everybody is getting so angry over a single post about a different game. First of all, it looks like a good game. Second of all, the guy who makes this is friends with the people at Mojang. Third of all, it's inspired by Minecraft. Fourth of all, what's the harm of having a game other than Minecraft in the spotlight?

Even if it is good, even if the guy who made it is friends with the people at Mojang, even if it is inspired by Minecraft, it is not Minecraft related, thus should not be in the Minecraft News sub-section of the Minecraft Discussion of the Minecraft Forums. Other games go in the Other Games Sub-section of the Off-Topic Section.

    Quote from Spiritbolt202

But back to the topic, stop hating. This game WAS inspired by Minecraft, so...it's like saying a Runescape mod can't be on the forums, because it isn't "Minecraft related" *sigh*

Runescape is an MMO, congratulations on not understanding that you can't mod an MMO. Also, if the impossible-to-make-but-let's-just-ignore-that-logical-failure mod is trying to recreate features from Minecraft and it's creator refers to it as being an attempt to recreate Minecraft within Runescape, then it is Minecraft Related.

Diamond Hoe. No contest, the diamond hoe is the least useful anything in Minecraft and it's removal would barely impact the game.

    I didn't remove your post.

It's all on a brand new quartz block: Chipped whitewashed stone bricks.

    Bumpdate!

Wood and Stone Tools of all types!

Wool and chain "Street Soldja" armor.

Chests, Pistons, and some sticky notes on some plywood makes the worst writing canvas.

I'm pretty sure the homeowners association frowns on extracting sludge in a well. (Also bricks and ingots.)

    A bunch of different painting.

Redstone wire, plywood trapdoor, and glass.

    More textures...

Stone and ores for when you mine.

I told you something criminal was in the shipyards, bro! Gangster-skelly! (Also, dirt, grass, and snow)

Welcome to the blood comet (Nether), featuring a couple of overrun research facilities with fancy looking metal.

Strage sludge flows throughout the blood comet, and you better be careful about these extremely trigger happy security gaurds piloting research ships.

Some "GF" members, who are willingly possessed by something. (GF means "Green Field", who are an in-universe eco-terrorist organization who protest the research on the blood comet.)

So are the blue bricks sandstone? :o

I was thinking they were stone bricks, but the sewers shot that down.

They are clay, the sandy "sidewalks" in the various screenies are the top texture of the sandstone.

Thanks for all the positive feedback, now have some very meh textures:

Some grungy stone bricks for the dirty sewars underneath the slightly less dirty town.

Behold, wood doors, some iron trailer doors, cobble and mossy cobble (whiteish bricks), and oak wood planks.

Okay, some kinda crafting table, some solar panels in the corner, and some items!
(Left-to-right, top-to-bottom naming of the items: Wood Sword (Bloody Bat), Stone Sword (Police Batoniamthelaw), Stone Pick (Smithy's Hammer Mark 3.14), and a stick (Stick)

Edit: Less terribad crafting table side texture:
