    This is somewhat true. However, the ways in which they are used and installed are quite different. Having separate forums for the multiple ways of modding would be incredibly helpful.

    sort of. I don't moderate this that much, but I really want this to see the light of day. If we can get more coders, we could do this.
    EDIT: I am currently working on MCreator demos, for sample, if you will.

    I thought about it, Github would be fine. so, Here are some ideas:
    we need the basics, mega Buster(one that charges) and Bass Buster would fit the bill.
    On utilities, i propose the rush set (coil,Jet,Marine), super adaptor (armor set with limited flight or jump boost, and fists to shoot missiles with), Wire, and magnet beam
    for the weapons, i will do them by game (note only from games iI've played)
    MM1: rolling cutter, iceslasher,fire storm, thunder beam
    MM2: metal blades, crash bomber, atomic fire.
    mm3: gemini laser.magic missile, search snake
    MM4:ring boomerang, drill bomb
    MM5: Napalm bomb, Crystal eye, water wave
    MM6:Knight crush
    MM10:wheel cutter, tripleblade.

    sounds good., but what would the zelda and mario do different then the existing mods? same for KH.
    also, I do not have skype, and do not want it. I prefer to talk by text, and be known by ideas, no more, no less.
    EDIT:
    what if the zelda mod had an ocarina menu, where you could activate songs? herobrine would be perfect for the elegy of emptiness (Nobody DARE bring up BEN.), and minecraft has dynamic weather, and horses!

    in a comment a while back, you asked me what the story of megaman is and what the mod will be.
    In the year 20XX Dr. wily sends robots to take over the world! the only one who can stop him is rock, a household robot modified into megaman ready to save the world! megaman can copy the powers of bosses he has faced, along with recive modifacations by dr light, to have a huge arsenal!
    I was thinking to have some robot masters in the game, and when you kill them, they drop a weapon. these weapons whould have limeted energy, recovered by weapon energy. however, some weapons would have infinite ammo.

    Okay, now this is likely going to fail. First, there is a more popular mod for Mario and Zelda. Second, the mod will be thrown everywhere with ideas, making coding harder, third, look at how many megaman topics thier are. Look how all have faild (intentional MM6 typo) getting a mod. Many people just like me want this. Finally, there is a mod for any game, exept megaman. We fought, and we shall succeed.

    graphical assets (need: 1) Me (we could get a backup)
    Coders(need:as many as we can get): Firewal1011, cupcoffee
    Musical assets( need: 1) Gam, (maybe a backup)
    skinners: (need at least 2) youngsora0
    so, we need more coders and skinners, if you can fit these roles, let me know. I have the MM2 tilesets for the second skinner ready.

    I really don't think firewall can do it on his own. the more help we can get, the better. note that while some weapons and items may be easy to code, others may not. i do think most mobs would be very easy to code because most act like skeletons with jumping that don't burn in the sun.

    I suggest to look at the pages in the main timeline here, because these are some things you will need to figure out how to code.

    um i also know how i can help along with beta testing I could try to find some music tracks from the games (i will also ask the creator of the megacraft resource pack if i can borrow some songs and sounds) so I can kinda be the sound manager of this also ROCK ON!

    EDIT: If anyone drops out for no reason, I will not be happy. this has been a dream for me! if we are going to put any X, though, put alot more classic/battlenetwork in.
    EDIT 2: I would also love to betatest, as I have tried to get this made for a very long time.
