quite honestly, I didn't really mean for people to be focusing on the trap itself.
What I really wanted is for people to notice the new type of BUD switch and the wierd glitch that makes it possible to work... sorry if my point wasn't expressed well enough
It is not new. This glitch has been around ever since the BUD switch was invented.
As I said I used Etho's room design but I added the ability to hit a button corresponding to a potion which would then drop all the ingredients need with ONE button instead of having to select each ingredient.
Or you could just hook the bud switch up to the dispenser with nothing inbetween? :S
If you did that then the potion would shoot out of the dispenser when the redstone ore turned on AND off when we just want it to shoot out the potion when the redstone ore turns on. The T-Flip-Flop makes the dispenser shoot a potion every other block update to insure it only shoots when the redstone is turned on.
In a previous post a man named iamjagman gave me an idea to hook up my potion dispenser with a BUD Switch with redstone ore to activate the device. So I made the device and this video shows the result...
This machine allows you to hit a button corresponding to a certain potion which will then drop all of the ingredients needed for said potion on your head...I did some searching around and I found one machine similar to this but not the same. The layout of the room was inspired by .
Hello this is Josh from JBStealthGamers. Today I have another device that I have come up with...This one is a "6 Arrow Burst Dispenser." So... please take a look and I would appreciate a comment, a like, or something of the sort. Enjoy!
Would be good for trapped corridors. You could use a redstone ore so that when you walk over it, it updates an already powered piston. would also trigger when it turned off tho, so it would be wasteful. Meh.
That is a good idea sir, and a way to make it work without the second trigger is by using a t-flip-flop so every other time the BUD switch is activated it will actually shoot out the potion. I am going to make a video showing that idea in action asap. Thank you for the idea.
