I don't know usually I'd say force update, but you're trying to play on a snapshot. I've played snapshot 12w25a and I've become really laggy so I got rid of it. But I can't really help you. Try this: Go back to 1.2.5 and on the downloaded minecraft.exe hit force update anyways. It will just reload everything again. Then try uploading the snapshot. If not try reinstalling Java.

Hello, I have a problem. Whenever I download a snapshot and put the .jar file in my bin, replacing the old one, (like you're supposed to do), I get stuck at the Done Loading screen. When I remove the snapshot .jar, I can run it fine on 1.2.5. Is there anyway to play on the snapshot and resolve this issue? Many of my friends servers are on the latest snapshot and it sucks to not be able to play.

Ok so me and my friend have used a server for a couple weeks and we've built a town etc, but now, after I had experienced connection issues earlier, we can't connect to the server.
Whenever I put in "localhost" as the address, I'm able to connect myself and everything's fine, but for some reason my friend can't connect through our old IP.
I went to "whatsmyip.org" and found out that my IP address had changed so we both put that into the Server Address, but it still shows up as "can't connect".
The only way that I can connect to my server is by putting "localhost" as the server address.
Could someone please tell me what we're doing wrong and what we have to do to fix this?
