From the looks of things, it seems that Notch has ran out of ideas for Minecraft (hence taking BETA out of the name soon) and is releasing a way to allow the community to write and create mods for Minecraft and if he likes the idea he can implement the mod to the full game.
Modding Marketplace - He said IF people want to sell their modifications, they would need to arrange another license with Mojang which could possibly cost money regardless.
Sorry to be an annoyance but I'm going to apply for the whitelist once again.

I know I've been picking Japan as one of the countries to build in and if that's not a possibility, the two others I'd like is California and South Carolina in the USA. If California is full, I'd like to place my second home as the Philippines, which is yet to be discovered, yes?
Is there any way I can possibly get whitelisted? I asked last night but I hope you didn't just overlook my application.
I hope you can prove to me that this server isn't like the other ones I've attempted to join where I try and work and it all just gets set back due to bugs with the server
