Minecraft4Kids was made AFTER The Wind Waker Texture Pack...

Not entirely, im not sure to be honest which was first as Ravecat started the pack however both texture packs use the exact same texture RIP from the game so neither can claim originality anyways.

I'm glad to see this up and running. Although I didn't have enough time to keep updating mine at least everything that I did can still be used :biggrin.gif:

Hey guys, just thought I'd post in here updating why I haven't been around at all the past 3 months. Like I just pm'd mewfan151 about:

In September I started full-time at an accounting firm when before I was just working a part time job. On top of that I started working towards my professional designation (Certified General Accountant) through their online after work school program. I basically have to do school almost all night after work.

The only reason I'm around today is I took the day off to study for my first final, 70% of my grade, which is tomorrow! it's all about Consolidated financial statements, not for profit accounting and foreign exchange consolidations.

Maybe I'll have some free time around the holidays? If anyone wants to contribute as well I can spare some time to include the updates in and maybe in a short while we can have a fully updated version, credited to the contributors as well of course.

I could try and put together a 1.8 version of this texture pack if anyone's interested. This texture pack is the official texture pack of my server, so I kind of want to do it already.

If you want to release it here I would throw it up on the main page. I haven't even had the time to check out whats changed in 1.8.

Sorry about not being around guys. I've started back a lot of new things and don't have much time to update anymore. I would like to update for the new patch eventually but it might take a while.

Also yeah, endermen would most likely be the redead skin.

They are! its just recolored to be white instead of golden. The golden one is in the Aether items list.

    Yeah, i know...
Still though, no need to change it...

I just wish that chain armour looked more like the tunic that's there...

Hehe :biggrin.gif: it will someday! I want to edit the tunic icon a bit more still too, not just the cool scarf. I did it cause i had a really cool idea back then for the chain armor design but then really pushed for a release version when I realized chain armor was pretty uncommon.

    Still...
if you played Majora's Mask, you'd know that Oni Link is the Ogre God...
It's mentioned that NO Other Sword is better than it...

But, I can see why you'd make it the Gold Equipment though...

Yeah, its true i know :smile.gif: It just fit so well aesthetically with gold! and the master sword fit with diamond more than anything else.

If you ever wanted to swap it its easy enough though.

Hmm, it still doesn't work, but i tried it out WITH an hd patcher and it DID work! Therefore i think theres still things that are hd! So i went into the texture pack folder and searched for some hd stuff, heres a list of things i found:

    -All the items
    -The gui
    -The particles
    -The mobs
    -The moon and the sun
    -The sign? (I'm not sure)
    -The art

I may be wrong, but try and fix those plz! (I reaaaaaaaaaally want this texture pack but since im using a mac and a mac doesnt let you have mcpatcher and a mod at the same time, but if i could have this in a 32x32 than i could use this and still play with mods!)

Yeah, you're right. It was on purpose though, I am pretty sure you need the mcpatcher for anything above 16x, since dokucraft required it. I didn't bother to downgrade the other stuff since I didn't think it would lag anyone. I had no idea about the Mac version, is there any other way?

Well I have two ideas. First, we are trying to license as much stuff as possible that the map uses under the "NanoEdge Entertainment" banner just so we can collectively license everything under one banner.

    I'm thinking that either

1-The Adventurecraft pack is licensed to you, using an agreement that I'll write and forward to you for approval.

2-The Adventurecraft pack is licensed to NanoEdge Entertainment. Your minecraft pack would be licensed to you, but this would allow us to continue to update the pack as needed without the need for a new license every time we modify it.

I would prefer we do the first option, as it makes damn sure that you are listed as the creator of the pack and does a better job of protecting you from any bull **** that I would never pull on you (but I would ALWAYS want to be 100% safe no matter how much I trust someone)

I can get started on a licensing rough draft as soon as you let me know what you want to do.

Basically just write up something saying you have permission to use any of my created textures and can modify them in ANY way for the sole purpose of the adventurecraft map. To be honest I'm not concerned at all about edits or anything for the adventurepack.

I know how it is. I'm actually excited to go back to school though because I get to start on upper division which means I'm almost done yay!

EDIT: Looks like we need to start licensing content now due to new forum rules. I assume our agreement is still valid but I would like a licensing agreement from you that I can include under the new licensing section that is being added to my topic.

Right, I'm not exactly sure how I can give the license out though yet. I put one up for mine that people cant remix my pack, but this is different and I'm basically doing it. Any ideas?

Although I've never played Okami, this is one of the most gorgeous texture packs I have ever seen. (Other than my own :smile.gif: conflict of interest haha)

The one thing I really appreciate (using the 128 version) is the colors and the textures are both muted, and vibrant at the same time. It's very easy on the eyes and not too noisy like the realistic packs out there.

I can't wait to see when/if you animate the water as I'm sure it will be just as great as the rest of the pack.

You have so much more time than I do to update texture packs lol

I didn't hear from you before the release but I went ahead and released the next version of the map. Once the AC pack is ready just send it to me and I'll update the download.

For sure, I'll upload it to Mediafire and pm you the link. I wont have a lot of time in about 3 weeks when I start full time at my job :sad.gif:

How'd you get that Cel-Shader look (the black outline around the edges)? Part of the textures themselves or something else?

Its part pack and part Glsl Shaders, I personally use Yousefs alternate shader's

Yeah, all of 32x32 texture packs are find! Could change the splash screen and i'll see if that works! :wink.gif:

I changed it and uploaded it yesterday for ya, try it out and let me know :smile.gif:
