Would be very cool to see villages get little trading tents like in this set. Honestly, villages could just a major overhaul altogether.

Jul 11, 2014IroncladPen posted a message on Minecraft News: MineOrama Drama Llama, MCPE 090, and MoreI have a strong feeling that this Mineorama convention was a scam. Honestly people, if you see someone hosting a Minecraft convention that isn't supported by Mojang, please just call the location the convention is supposed to be at and ask them. That's honestly the easiest way to see if something is legit. If the owners of the location have no idea what you're talking about then it's probably a scam.Posted in: News

May 28, 2014IroncladPen posted a message on Minecraft Mondays - PS4, Xbox One, Halo packs OH MY!I'm a frequent Steam user and I honestly don't think Minecraft needs to be on Steam. Mojang is doing just fine on their own without making Minecraft available on what essentially is the easiest way to buy PC games. I really don't see any advantages of putting Minecraft on Steam other than being able to broadcast to your Steam friends that you're playing it. If Minecraft were put on Steam I could foresee a lot of other games going ahead and creating Minecraft items for their games as a way to get people to buy, buy, buy, which honestly annoys me. If your game isn't good enough to get sales on it's own, it doesn't deserve to be bought. Using the fame of someone else to increase your profits in cheap and lazy. Also, there is a lot of work that goes into coding Minecraft and being able to make all your mods work together. I have a feeling that adding Steam into the mix would just complicate things even more.Posted in: News

May 31, 2012IroncladPen posted a message on Snapshot 12w22a Ready For Testing!I do NOT like the fact that Mining and Smelting give you XP. I have that feeling that before long, Minecraft is going to turn into an MMORPG like Runescape and WoW.Posted in: News
Not a bug. -
May 3, 2012IroncladPen posted a message on Snapshot 12w18a Is Here For Testing!I do not like what they have done to the single player worlds. I think you should be able to start a single player world normally, meaning only you, and then down the road switch the world to allow friends on. Or put in the option to create a TRUE single player world or create a single player server world thing that they now have created.Posted in: News
The thing I like most about Minecraft is all the options that are available to me. -
Apr 29, 2012IroncladPen posted a message on Change Your Minecraft Name? Possibly In The FutureI've played games where the username you picked was the one you were known as in game and in the forums attached to the game. The creators implemented this change and it was mass chaos. Here's my two cents:Posted in: News
Allow players to change their name once they are in game so that they are seen as whatever they like BUT do not allow them to change their Minecraft.net name. How would this work?
If I wanted to log into Minecraft.net and Minecraft I would have to use my name, Ironclad Pen. Once I'm actually in minecraft, I could open up chat type in /change name Ironclad Pen (new name here). After that happened my name wound appear as whatever I chose to the other players and would be the name used in commands. Once I log out of Minecraft, my name would be reset to Ironclad Pen.
Obviously there would have to be some sort of check that Minecraft runs in order to prevent two players from having the same name.
EDIT:
I also think it would be interesting if Minecraft.com would implement a profile system that others could view. With that in place, Mojang could then assign each user a unique code that links their profile/Minecraft.net name to their character. That way if someone comes into your server and is messing stuff up you simply* 'ping' their code, go to Minecraft.com, get their account name and add their account name to your ban list. - To post a comment, please login.

It's supposed to be like that.

Before I click play on your video, it shows an island that has a lava pool, some snow covered trees, and the island is kind of shaped like an Xbox controller. Do you have the seed for that?

There is only one assests folder that I've found.
Appdata -> Roaming -> .Minecraft, then it's the very first folder.
Inside that assests folder is...
Icons, Lang, music, records, sound, sounds, pack.mcmeta, READ ME I AM VERY IMPORTANT, and sounds

I was messing around with things last night, trying to get it to work and no matter what I did I just couldn't. I went into my Minecraft.jar, and into the art folder and edited the kz.png where are the normal paintings are but when I saved and went back into Minecraft none of the changes too effect.
Also, I can't find where you're trying to send me. When I open my Minecraft.jar there isn't an assests folder.
