Yeah, it kinda is. Saying that is like saying - "If you're too poor to afford a car, than why not take it out for a 'test drive' until you have the money to pay for it? 'Test driving' it until you can work up the money for it really isn't that bad."
This implies piracy is stealing, which its not. Piracy is making a copy, not theft.
Piracy is not stealing. No physical copy of a disk was stolen, it was merely a non physical copy of the game. There is no theft. I swear most of the kids replaying to this subject dont even know what piracy is.
>That, my friend, is why there is a such thing as REVIEWS. Ever heard of IGN? Metacritic? Gamespot? No? Well go watch their reviews.
Most of those so called review sites kill off good games for little to no reason, and get paid off to write good reviews for bad games with big budgets. No thanks.
>a "can I run it" system that will tell you if you can run it at an acceptable framerate.
I have tired these sites in the past, some say I can run games I clearly can not run, while others say I cant run certain games when I can. Its a plot luck, and they are never 100% sure so they are not to be trusted. Only true way to test it is to run the game on your pc.
>to steal to see how a game
Again piracy is not theft, no property is being taken away. Piracy is making copies of an object which has no physical makeup. You can not argue my point if you are going to misrepresent the word piracy under false pretenses.
>it never gave me the feeling that paying for games did. It made me feel like I didn't truly earn the game.
Your "feelings" are irrelevant , as there is no difference between a proper pirated copy and a paid for one.
>Piracy isn't something that a true gamer does.
There is no such thing as a "true gamer" a gamer is someone who plays video games, if they are free to play, handheld, console, pc, paid, rented borrowed or free. Saying "true gamer" is just trying to make yourself seem like a special, beautiful, and unique snowflake. While in reality you're the same decaying organic matter as everything else. Lastly anyone can pick up a game and call themselves a true gamer, it doesn't mean jack crap nor is there any guide lines to being one that means anything. Its just a thrown together word to try to make inner groups of people who play video games which has no meaning other then trying to feel special. -

I cannot make a satisfactory Canadian flag without this.Posted in: Suggestions - To post a comment, please login.

hey, at least we got igloo's now.

The server I run has 8 gigs in it and a minimum of 4 is allocated, I did find the area to add custom arguments into the launcher, but I read there's a way to put those arguments directly into the version.json file so no one needs to add them into the launcher, pretty much making the pack auto-execute those java commands, if that makes any sense.

I can't wait for the release, disguise modules and other stuff, so much win.

I did some more testing with a friend and it's confirmed, LookingGlass is fully compatible with Thermos server build 58 forge 1614 for anyone who wants to use it on a modded server with plugins.

VERY IMPORTANT FINDING!
I have been testing out a new type of modded server that took over from Kcauldron, it's called "Thermos", they recently updated to build#58 which is one of the ones that runs forge 1614, according to the info on there github: https://github.com/CyberdyneCC/Thermos/releases they have changed some libraries within Thermos, so I decided to test out lookingglass (that nifty API that shows cameras within frames) and it works! I will add 2 screenshots for proof, now it was only me on my modded server (i'm testing for a hopeful update release and startup of a modded server) and I found that if you right clicked on the frame with a camera monitor bound to it after the frame stopped displaying, the camera would speed up after clicking it to view the camera again, other than that it seems to work perfect, once again though, it was only me on my modded server, no one else so I don't know if having someone else on at the same time will screw up anything.
the versions of lookingglass and, securitycraft, and thermos are as follows:
Thermos = build 58 forge 1614
lookingglass = 0.2.0.00
securitycraft = V1.8.1
please note these are all for 1.7.10. I thought I would let everyone know as a lot of people were hoping for that to work one day.

I myself happened to figure out how to compile it and yes there are some bugs, one in particular I noticed with switch tracks and passenger cars, the cars (Even though connected in a train) would rotate towards the side of the switch track and then once past would straighten up, this was while having a train stay on the straight part of the switch track.
So seeing that it DOES work on 1.7.10 (although the bugs that are being ironed out) it is by FAR not dead.

I cannot believe I have to tell another person to USE LOOKINGGLASS.

i'm glad you got it working on your system finally.

7 posts above you she mentioned that you need to hold down the W key to build up speed.

1) Mods (as stated by FirEmerald above)
2) Multiplayer, play with friends or family all across the world.
3) Start your own Multiplayer server for friends or family or just to start a community.
4) It comes on so many consoles and platforms and they are working hard so one day they can all connect to one another.
5) Create a modpack and share it with people.
6) Create your OWN mod and experiment learning new things.
7) Join a group and create an amazing map or spawnpoint on a server or for single player adventure.
8) Getting new people on the game and showing them around is fun.
9) Mini games on Realms can be fun as well.
10) Starting a new world every now and again to refresh the creativity in either survival or creative is fun.
Hopefully some of my list has peaked your interest, if the whole list did then i'm glad.
