with the addition of lighting fixes, they should finally add in Colored light so when light goes through stained glass it shows that shade of color.

To me, I like having calm villages for trading, I DO like the new blocks (wish there were more fence types like MOSS wall) but I might get used to the pillaging eventually, I still say we need a double ender chest.

I would rather they take the time to get it right than to push out updates that are messed and have broken bits, but i'm a person who still thinks one of the best versions was 1.7.10 -

I completely agree with people, this feels just the same as when youtube forced people to get a google account, and i'm sorry but I find this pointless as well, to me, this is just another place that is bullying people into either joining another site or leaving and this is not fair.

The solid backed stairs is a terrible update in my opinion. For designers and builders who like to make solid walls right behind bars or fences as part of a wall design, it's now impossible. We used the back of the stairs as a "false wall" so the bars, panes, fences, or whatever have you, would not attach itself to the wall. Now, that's impossible. Thanks Mojang!

IF they made it so item frames could be placed to block connecting of glass and iron bars then that would be a good alternative, but I do see your point, both of you. -

The only thing I don't like about the Stairs being more of a "solid" block is they forgot doors, I would LOVE to be able to place a door on the top of a stair, so many times design and space constraints require a stair but cannot have a door. I have a building in my servers spawn that SHOULD have rooftop access but i've been forced to place stained glass panes in the way as they WILL go on top of stairs.

I don't believe so, I think there was a website that used to use the world seed and MC version number to show a basic map of what the terrain would come out like, but dynmap renders where players have explored, not the unknown yet.

The closest thing I can come up with is that there is something in the config for DV that you can "add" blocks that it can use for ships, hopefully that helps.

my main thought would be that it MIGHT work to help stabilize the network connection for each machine as I have a 24 port ethernet switch connected to the server rack with the servers. is what i'm thinking even possible?

I have 3 IBM Xseries servers, 2 of them run my minecraft servers (one spigot the other forge), these computers being pure server grade rack units happen to have 2 ethernet ports for each server unit. I would like to know (just out of curiosity) if you can use both ethernet ports at the same time for the servers, like is there a way to bind a port number to multiple internal ip's? these machines are running ubuntu server so no desktop to work with pc side.

I'm not sure what caused the error but I used a backup of my modpack to make an update and it seems to be fixed, unless someone out there knows another fix to this then my topic can be closed with no replies.

There was a file that was issued called "Dynmap Mod Scraper", you COULD try using that, it apparently works for most if not all mods, it was linked in the main post.

I have done some google searching and supposedly this error is something to do with configs not being the same between client and server...at least in a slightly different variable (instead of minecraft:wooden_door it's minecraft:wheat), but I have tried regenerating completly new configs and it still errors with a Fatal Registry Error. can anyone help with this or have any other ideas?

it could be that the early stages the author is getting it to work with minecraft 1.15.2 first and waiting for a decent forge version to come out that's stable enough to try make compatible with. just my thoughts though.

only thing I can suggest to you is to check out the curseforge site, it should have them all listed, be warned though, if you go to use Optifine with Project:red, enabling shaders will crash the game with an "Out Of Memory" error, thinking it's something to do with it being multipart items.

I was messing around in my custom modpack with a friend and we placed a phone booth down, the model was really good but it was just a decoration, couldn't even walk into it, so I got to thinking "it would be nice if you could walk into it", or better yet..........use it!
My idea is to have a usable phone booth that players can use to directly chat with other players outside of chat (similar to how essentials for spigot had PM'ing players), either having a separate chat window for the phone booth appear when using the booth, or have it as part of the chat bar.
the phone booths would first show all players currently in the server (as if they were all written in a book, a PHONE book!), then a player could click on a players name to "call" that player (if the phone is set to "pay to use" then a box would appear saying"Insert Payment" Showing what item and amount is needed for payment, and a spot to put the items in for payment.
phone booths would have the option of being public phones (either free to use or pay to the admins) or a privately owned phone (either free or pay to the owner of that phone booth).
payment could be set by either the admins or the owners of the phone booths via a GUI using a "key" to lock the booth to the owner, the GUI would show a box where you could put whatever item you want to use for payment and however many in a stack (for example, to charge people 3 iron nuggets to use the phone you place those in the box in the GUI), it will also have a button to toggle "FREE FOR USE".
Possible option for a chest area to hold items collected by players that the owner can come and collect.
So what does everyone think of this idea for a mod? anyone up to the challenge? please let me know what you all think!
