posted a message on Mcedit for MCX3: good or bad idea?
Would having mcedit for MCX3, a.k.a minecraft xbox 360 edition, be a good idea? Here's my reason for being both for and against this. I'd be for it because then people can make maps for everyone to play on, which probably would require to somehow have the world downloadable for everyone. I'd also be against it because then the baddy noobs can cheat and find everything in their worlds. Just a random question for everyone to answer. Happy Minecrafting.

This'll probably be an obvious answer to an obvious question, but are they working on updating mcedit to work with mcpc v1.3?

posted a message on My theory of when the next 2 updates will be released
It's just something that I thought about a few days ago, and did some research on the beta versions that will be released for the 360. The announced release month is POSSIBLY next month(august), or September, as posted on the upcoming features on minecraftwiki.net. My theory is with a lot of the features that were added from beta version 1.8 to beta version 1.8.1 or beta version 1.8.2 of Minecraft, it would take at least an additional month to get the pc beta version working properly for the 360 version. It's a pretty big list, and with the sound update added into the mix, it makes sense. Abandoned mineshafts, strongholds, npc villages, etc. would take quite awhile to get functioning like they should for the 360.

For the official minecraft pc version 1.2.3, that would take 4 to 6 months to get it all nice and pretty for the 360. Just take a look on minecraftwiki.net for yourself and you will see what I mean. Hope this helps everyone. Happy Minecrafting on either the pc or 360 version.

posted a message on Minecraft: Pocket Edition Updates!
For those who are planning on getting The pocket edition app of minecraft for your iphone/ipod touch/ipad, I give you this warning: If you play this for more than a half hour, your device will get hot to the point where it has an exclamtion point on a black screen warning you that your device has overheated, err something like that, i don't remember what it said. It doesn't hurt to be extra careful. Play on the MCPE app for maybe 10-20 minutes, let your iphone/ipod touch/ipad cool off for an hour or so, and then play on it again. I have a 4th generation ipod touch that is 2 years old, and has the latest firmware (v5.1.1). Hope this helps for everyone. And no, I'm not trying to make Mojang lose profit in this app, I'm just giving everyone a heads up so that way they won't freak out, go to best buy or apple, and purchase a new apple iphone/ipod touch/ipad. Happy Minecrafting.

Wewt, no restrictions. Also, has anyone else noticed that it is possible to get iron on the Skyblock through legit means without breaking the rules?

Yet it's not possible to get Gold that I am aware of.

Actually it is. Riddle: Two challenges are the key to obtaining the item that you seek.

Okay, so, I built a nice sized house and lit it up, and for some reason, whenever I leave to get something mobs spawn in my house. The roof is made of stairs, is there a bug with them or something?

I think i know what your problem is. If there is light coming in from where you have the stairs, then you need to put a wood block there so that way the light doesn't get in, and that could fix your mob spawning issue.

I only did that just to experiment with an idea. For the animals, I really had no choice because there wasn't any animal mobs on the island to start with, although I do see your point.

Spawned on an island with absolutely NO sign of land anywhere on this map, excluding the island you spawn on, and some tiny islands spread out across the map. The seed is 8949048316243869878. Will add some screenshots of what I have done on this seed so far. Had to import these following items: 1 cactus, 2 sheep spawner eggs, 2 cow spawner eggs, 2 pig spawner eggs, 1 pine sapling, 1 jungle sapling, 1 melon seed, and 1 pumpkin seed. I believe that's all I had to import. Will let everyone know if there's any more items that I had to import. Happy Minecrafting, everyone.

Screenshot of the seed to show that it is the correct seed for this world

posted a message on MCPC & MCX3 worlds compatible with each other
I thought of this today, and thought it would be cool to have possible. What if it were possible to copy your MCPC/MCX3 world onto a thumb drive, and then copy that world to your pc/360? That way, everyone can take their worlds from both systems and have them on the go, just a thumb drive away. I know, everyone's thinking, "But wouldn't that give everyone access to cheating using INVedit or MCEdit?" Well, that would require MCX3 worlds to have a separate file type so that INVedit, MCEdit, etc. are imcompatible with all world + inventory editors. Oh, and you could put your MCX3 + MCPC worlds on the cloud and put them on either system, which would require Microsoft to make an Amazon Cloud application on the 360 system. Hope everyone likes this idea. Happy Minecrafting, everyone!

For some odd reason, when I had a friend upload my world save of my skyblock survival map onto his pc, it didn't spawn him on the island you start on. Any idea why? I'm thinking it might have something to do with not having bedrock under the spawn point. Also, it spawned him on the original land that i thought i deleted all of the chunks. Any help from you survival map makers would be nice.

posted a message on Melon rework
Melon seeds are very diificult to find when creating a new world. Reason why I said very difficult because sometimes there's that certain circumstance where you explore the abandon mineshafts and you find just one melon seed. You're playing on any difficulty higher than peaceful, and two creepers head toward you. You try to kill them both, but one manages to blow up and kill you. Your stuff is so far away from your spawn point, that you wouldn't make it back to your stuff in time before it were to despawn. Back to subject, pumpkins naturally spawn in new worlds, so why not melons? If I were Jeb, I'd have them naturally spawn in NPC villages, with their own patch, like how NPC villages have wheat farms. Yes, I know, there's that trading feature with NPCs in 1.3, but it would be nice to have more than a few ways to obtain melons. For the color of melons, why not have them green and rename them to watermelon? Hope Mojang uses this idea in the future. Happy Minecrafting.

posted a message on [Surv] Skyblock
Here's what I would add to skyblock 1.3:

Some spawner rooms, which would have a certain amout of blocks to reach the SR/TR. Idk if this is true or not, but is it true that zombies drop iron ingots in 1.2.5? If so, then additional challenges that would have the player make a full set of iron armor, weapons, and tools, and 10-30 blocks of iron(made by using a crafting table and filling the 3x3 crafting grid with 1 iron ingot in each box).

@BlameTheController if I were you, I'd add secret rooms/chambers that very complex puzzles and riddles, and at the end of the secret room/chamber, there would be a very nice reward. If you want even more inspirational ideas, I'd watch DeadWorkersParty's youtube video series' that are on their youtube channel. Or you can send me a private message on here for anymore ideas for KotS3.
