    Yeah, I agree, but don't forget an other ability the tainted wand has is when infected by flux taint potion effect, it will recharge it self slowly. And standing on fibrous taint will frequently give you the flux taint effect. So if you want a full wand and you have plenty of time, this is the wand for you.

    But I would say the most OP wand in this mod is the ars magica witch wood wand, you can technically say it recharges with no cost.

    You don't need to completely drain their blood, you just need to drain half of their blood.

    And you need to mesmerism them before draining their blood

    I love the mystic branch, and I'm glad that It got more spells. But there is one thing, it is not really that helpful in certain sticky combat situations. It would be great to have a familiar or something that allows you to pre draw the pattern, then you can just cast the spells as many times, until you draw an other symbol. If it's a bit to op, you can limit it to only certain spells, such as flipendo. As for the familiar, a crow would sound cool.

    oh yes, and can't those mantis have a much special way of attack?

    Like they will stand still and turn transparent when you look at them, but they will sneak towards you when your not looking ^_^

    will the recipe for the wand of animation change? because using a nether star just doesn't fit a lot to the mod, maybe a erebus boss?
    oh yes, and i love the mantis, but they lack a bi of animations, maybe it can fling its arms when it attacks you instead of like bumping on you...
