Are you gonna make this mod for 1.4.2 version?

    Quote from Linkfan321

I have 1.4.2 and I forgot that the Smart Moving i had was for 1.3.2! Please have a 1.4.2 version of this mod or i'l sing.

    When I get to it.

Divisor is probably working on a standalone version. But he has to work on Player API, and wait for ModLoader

posted a message on AlternaCraft - Default textures with a twist! (fan update)

Hiatus. Unknown return date. You guys probably get stick to vanilla or find another resource pack for the time being. But I need to take some time off for now.

Enjoy the look of Vanilla Minecraft? Yes? Do you believe it needs some touch-ups here and there? Yes!? You've come to the right place. This is the fan continuation of the Alternacraft texture/resource pack. This is not an authentic, 100% copy of the original pack, but I do make my efforts to update. Since this is a fan update, I will NOT be profiting off my releases. This pack includes many customizations from me, and from those credited by Andeh6 and myself. Hopefully you enjoy this updated and customized version of the infamous Alternacraft pack.

"AlternaCraft is a .. [resource] pack that utilizes most of the original textures but also modifies certain aspects of it to make it look better; in my opinion anyway... Such changes include better armor, tools, golden wheat and many more little changes. This texture pack aims to change the things that could be improved, but also keeping as close to vanilla Minecraft as possible." (Andeh6, 2011)

    Find the subtle changes...

    Taken on this map.

Other various textures (with defaults as well):

This (outdated) image/banner is by Andeh6:

    Noticeable changes from banner:

    - New diamond armour and diamond
    - Downgraded wooden tools, changed golden and diamond axes and swords
    - Tweaked lava bucket

    Changelog:

    Andeh6 releases:
    v1.0 First version!

    v1.1 Small fixes with armor

v1.2 Several tweaks and new Zombie skin
    UPDATE! Tweaks and Zombies!

This latest update includes the new "rotting" zombies, similar to the pig zombies since I thought they looked a little plain. The update also includes several tweaks such as the diamond sword hilt, etc.

If you like this texture pack, please keep commenting! I can only know that people are interested by viewing the activity of this thread.- Andy
v1.3 Wood to diamond tool transitions
    UPDATE! New tools

This new update includes "Wood to Diamond" transitions for tools. I'm really happy about the gold/diamond axes but not so much of the gold/diamond shovel or pick. Anyway, if you have any suggestions, please tell me.

v1.4 Beta 1.5 compatible, dungeons and tweaks
    UPDATE! 1.5 and Dungeons

The texture pack is now Beta 1.5 compatible with the new weather updates, saplings, rail boosters/detectors, and more!

I also updated mossy cobblestone to also be infected by the dreadful creeper larvae but also improved the creeper larvae on the spanner to make it look more naturally infected, not forgetting some little tweaks to certain items.

If you like this texture pack, please keep commenting! I can only know that people are interested by viewing the activity of this thread.

v1.5 Boat and diamond armor tweaks
    UPDATE! v1.5 Tweaks

This update is nothing big, just some tweaks such as the diamond helmet having a visor, no more grey dots on farmland blocks, got rid of wood holes in boats and doors, etc. I do suggest you should update though.

The fate of the mossy creeperstone is now in your hands! The polls are currently neck and neck and just one vote can change the outcome. The poll will close on Monday.

And also, please keep posting in this thread to keep it alive!

    v1.6 GUI
    UPDATE! v1.6 New GUI!

I actually finished making the GUI awhile ago but never had the time (or memory)
to actually release so here it is!

Also in this update is small tweaks to certain blocks, but you wont care about that..
The texture pack is also now uploaded onto Dropbox instead of the frowned-upon Mediafire!

In other news, the poll has finished and mossy creeper-stone is staying!

And also, please keep posting in this thread to keep it alive!

v1.7 Beta 1.6 compatible and tweaks
UPDATE! v1.7 Beta 1.6 compatible and tweaks!

Hello! Sorry for the late update and thanks to sgtdorito117 for producing a make shift one
but finally it is time for the official update. This texture pack update includes all of the
new Beta 1.6 items, blocks, maps, etc.

    It also include some little tweaks, including the final removal of the mossy creeper-stone;
even though the poll showed people liking it, it only looks good in dungeons and looks terrible
outside of them, such as when being used in "ruined buildings". I hope people dont get too annoyed
at this change but I think its for the best.

And also, please keep posting in this thread to keep it alive!

v1.8 Beta 1.7 compatible and tweaks
UPDATE! v1.8 Beta 1.7 compatible and tweaks!

Hello! And once again, sorry for the slightly late update. This update is mainly about the new
blocks and items introduced in 1.7, aswell as some tweaks to the new/old textures.

Such tweaks include change to the map icon, now like a treasure map with dotted lines and an X. The shears are
also now grey since I dislike the brownish colour on it; also makes more sense due to the recipe
being of just two iron blocks, nothing brown. Although tell me what you think and please keep suggesting
more ideas for me to change!

And also, please keep posting in this thread to keep it alive!

v1.9 Tweaks to diamond/gold tools and armor
    Heh, banana sword.

Anyway, I tried to update the diamond/gold pickaxes and hoes to make them
look stronger but still I'm not sure about it. It actually looks better here
than ingame .. so what do you think?

I also made the diamond chestplate similar to the iron chestplate since the
previous diamond chestplate made you have huge arms, and there's also some other little other tweaks included!

    Please leave comments or feedback!
    v2.0 Beta 1.8 and tweaks
    1.8 UPDATE

Hey, this is a pretty big update. Along with the 1.8 stuff, I have also modified alot of the old items/blocks/armor aswell as the new 1.8 stuff. Such changes include the diamond stuff being more blue than cyan, the orange shading on gold gone, no more genitalia swords, better watermelons, green cave spiders, slightly tweaked GUI, slightly better glass, and more!

While most of them are subtle tweaks, some are pretty big, so please tell me which ones you liked or disliked so I can further improve this texture pack! Thanks for downloading! :)
    v2.1 Beta 1.9 prerelease 2
    1.9 UPDATE

Finally updated the pack to 1.9! This is compatible with the 1.9 pre release 2
and although I havent really changed the 1.9 textures as of now, I will be working
on them as soon as possible.

On the otherhand, Ive changed alot of the previous
textures, just as changing the colour of diamond stuff again, purple ender pearls,
    purple ender eye, etc.

Enjoy, and sorry for the late update. Ill try and improve the 1.9 textures ready for the
    official 1.9 release.

Do not use unrecommended builds, they will have bugs/missing textures.

v2.2 Minecraft 1.2.3 update and tweaks
    1.2.3 UPDATE! FAN CONTINUATION COMMENCES.

This is the BIGGEST update of all (for the pack). The 1.2.3 update! Well it seems like Andeh6 is now inactive and the MikePatCat has made their fan update, but I wanted to make my own. In this update, I've added all 1.0.0, 1.1, and 1.2.3 textures that are customized by MikePatCat/me, or just plain default. I've gotten annoyed with some items (from the original) so I've changed the Diamond Helmet, Diamond, Fireball/Fire Charge, Diamond + Gold Pickaxes, Wood Gold and Diamond Hoes, Experience Potion, and Glistering Melon (check credits for some textures). The rest of the changes are by Andeh6 or MikePatCat. I've also updated some terrain to the default Minecraft, added tweaks, and the rest by MikePatCat or Andeh6 (again). There are many more changes throughout the texture pack that I'll leave to you to find out. I've added support for Custom Colors by MCPatcher. If you have any suggestions, post below and I'm gladly to read it.

    - Inofficially
v2.3 Minor tweaks to terrain (wheat transition + dispenser texture)

    v2.4 Tweaks
Restored the default blur underwater. Removed the shadow on the moon and moon phases. Changed Lapis ore and block so it matches the other ores and blocks. Changed Melons to look like pumpkins but green. Updated Netherrack and Grass. Unnoticeable tweaks to diamond, gold, and iron blocks. Color change to match dead bush with new sapling. Please post suggestions, and keep this thread up.
    v2.5 1.2.4 update and tweaks
    1.2.4 update!
Added new wooden planks (yes, I removed the dots) and updated special sandstone. Don't forget about dispenser GUI fix.

v2.6 Tweaks and brewing GUI (Works with 1.2.5)
Tweaks to wooden planks and sign. Removed shine on melons so it would like a flat surface. Added new wool (not custom). New dispenser GUI by MikePatCat (some tweaks by me) and some other unimportant tweaks.

v2.7 Minor tweaks and clock fix

    v2.8 Tweaks and 1.3.1 update
    1.3.1/1.3.2 Update

One big update I should say (for the pack and MC). Added CTM support. I tweaked Magma Cream, Gold Nugget, Ghast Tear, Ender Chest, Blaze Powder, Emerald Ore, Mooshroom, Mycelium, Emerald Block, and other unimportant textures. I restored chest GUI because of Ender Chest (*SAD FACE*). Many other unimportant changes.
v2.9 1.4.1 update (Old leather armor, item frame tweak, various tweaks.)

    v3.0 1.4.2 fixes and tweaks.

v3.1 1.4.4 update + lava bucket change and new "wait" disc (Unrecommended)

    v3.2 Skeleton tweaks and fixes

    v3.3 1.4.6/1.4.7 update

v3.4 1.5 texture compatibility and tweaks (Unrecommended)

v3.6 1.5 compatibility updated (THIS AND OLDER VERSIONS ARE NO LONGER SUPPORTED)

v4.0 1.6 compatibility. Now a resource pack. (Unrecommended)

    v4.1 Added new textures. (Unrecommended)

    v4.2 Texture fixes.

v4.3 Added coloured glass (may be redone soon), texture tweaks. (Unrecommended)

v4.4 Added missing pink glass. (Unrecommended)

v4.5 Fixed multiple textures, should be a stable build. (Unrecommended)

v4.6 Fixing and updating several textures. (Unrecommended)

    v4.6.1 Fixed piston textures (Unrecommended)

v4.6.2 Fixed/updated several textures, should be a stable build. (NOT FOR NEW SNAPSHOTS!)

v4.7 1.8 update (Fixed leather armor, fixed coarse dirt, fixed new iron door)

    v4.8 1.9 update.

    Support for 1.9 update.

I am announcing that I will be slowly begin discontinuing this pack due to the dedication required for the project which I lack. The pack may possibly continue updating but development may be slowed down or completely halted.

    Bugs:

Make sure you are running the correct version of Minecraft specified!

    - No bugs that are obvious with v4.8 (Hopefully..)

    Q/A:

#1. The eggs aren't the same color as the actual mob. (e.g., cow, cave spider)
Resource pack's 'Custom Colors' support is currently outdated. Will be updated in future releases.

    #2. I don't like some textures.
One can delete specific files/textures by accessing the resource pack files (with access to .zip files, WinRAR/7Zip is highly recommended.)

#3. It looks too much like Vanilla Minecraft.
Read the quote at the beginning of this topic.

    #4. Where's the update!?
I release updates to full releases, usually because many things change between snapshots/prereleases and full releases. If you don't see an update for a full release of Minecraft on time, don't worry... it's coming.

#5. May I use some of these textures for my own resource pack?
Go ahead, as long as you tell me what textures, and credit the creator/modifier of the texture (read credits).

    #6.
    Alternacraft glitches out some textures.
Yes there are some bugs with the pack but there are essential textures to the pack that cannot be removed otherwise the pack will no longer be Alternacraft

#7. What happened to 'Connected Textures' support?
Was outdated in resource pack, removed, and will be updated in a future release.

    Credits:
    Mojang (for original textures)
Andeh6 (original) (for creating and compiling this texture/resource pack)
MikePatCat086 (fan update) (Based on certain textures on their fan update)
Th3PinkNinj4 (True to Original) (Based on certain textures on their texture pack)
Shortstuf7 (Clean Design pack) (Based on certain textures on their texture pack)
Dan2098 (Bettercraft) (Based on certain textures of their texture pack)

Please post feedback, (more importantly the bad and the ugly so we can debate :P), it would be very appreciated.

All compliments will be directed to those in the credits and myself. To show thanks on everyone's behalf, I will all compliments toward this resource pack.

Also, hit the button on this thread if you like my updates and tweaks to the resource pack.
Plus, subscribe to the topic if you want to know whenever there is a tweak/update for the pack or you just want to handle the thread.

    by North101, updated by Inofficially

    Download:
    r11[1.5.2] preview from Dropbox
(Issues with Controls screen title, may show brown pixelated area instead of titles)

ScrollableControls fixes issues when using mods that add controls, by making the controls screen scrollable. Without this mod, the done button at the bottom of the controls screen will block some of the controls added by mods/vanilla. Do not use with Forge, since Forge adds it's own controls scroll!

posted a message on [1.5.2] Meat+ - A little more meat to the game!
    Meat+
    by Inofficially

Meat+ is a mod which includes an addition of meats. These meats can be obtained by killing the mobs that drop them. Killing the mob with fire (aspect enchantment) will drop the cooked state of the food, as well as smelting the raw food. Please note that I am still working on this mod, so there are bound to be bugs and some incompatibilities.

Discontinued due to increased errors, will require re-write which I cannot do.

DOWNLOAD v1.8 Preview with Pigmen skins (Dropbox) REQUIRES MODLOADER.

Get rid of those ugly Squidwards!

Human Villagers mod is a mod that re-models Villagers to be the same species as your player. Instead of having squidwards or aliens from another planet, you can finally have some of your own people in your world.

*Every version under v1.5 is by nate111135*

v1.5: 1.2.5 update! Slight texture changes.
v1.6: 1.3.1 update! Added villager hurt noises

v1.7: 1.3.2 update! Changed texture location and changed to default hat mesh.
v1.8: 1.4.2 update! Added new witch and zombie villager model.

    FAQs and possible FAQs:

    #1: I can't install it! I get a crash.
Did you delete the META-INF folder inside your minecraft.jar? Do you have mods that modify the awc, awd, awe, pz, qa, and/or qd
class(es)? Did you install all class(es)? Please include an error report if you have one.
#2: Can I use this in my modpack?
Sure you can, but you need to credit me and everyone in my credits list.

#3: Does this work in multiplayer/LAN?
Yes! It is client-sided, but the noises will not work on any type of server since the noises are server-sided since 1.3. For LAN, everyone must install Human Villagers in order to get the hurt noises.

    #4: UPDATE!
Calm down there, I'm new to coding. It'll take me some time.

#5: You ripped this off nate111135!
I did not, he gave me permission for the entire mod; here's his quote:
    Quote from nate111135 »

Sure. I was actually waiting for 1.3 and the mod API to update it, but i've been losing interest in minecraft, so go ahead.

It'd be your work though, so go ahead and put your own name on it.

#6: Can my texture pack support this?
Yes, look at the textures in the villager folder included with this mod, that should help you, here's an example
(the witch skin using every section including witch hat and nose) that you can download by right clicking the photo and clicking Save image as...

#8: Please make this compatible with ModLoader/Forge!
I'm glad you guys are reading the OP! But in fact, IT IS! Just download the ModLoader or Forge patch in the Patches spoiler and follow the instructions, or install Human Villagers after (only) ModLoader. But if you want all the features of ModLoader, install the ML patch.

#9: I think I installed it right, but villagers have white textures!
Did you REPLACE the villager textures with the textures from my mod? If you have done so, you installed it incorrectly. You are supposed to drag all classes and folders into the minecraft.jar. Which will add a folder and replace 2 classes in the minecraft.jar. No folders or .pngs should have been replaced

I can't change the spawner. I right-clicked it but actually uses up the egg, not changing the spawner.

The reason most people are upset about not having a modloader version is because the last versions had modloader options, then you just discontinue it without warning. I won't complain about their not being a modloader version, I'll just stop using the mod, oh wait I have.

Reasons why you too should stop using this mod:
    • Developer seems to have no clear plan of what he wants to do with the mod, this is visible by the constant changing of the mod requirements (Forge, No Forge, Forge)
    • Developer seems to have some dislike towards the community, while this is fine, is it not fine that he displays it openly.
    • Developer seems to be lazy when it comes to coding, not wanting to add the new features to the modloader version. Most likely due to the above reason.
Don't get me wrong, the mod itself is good, but I hate the developer. I'll gladly go learn java myself just to code this mod because I dislike the developer.

I do not want to say anything negative or positive. I do not dislike your opinions about this mod neither do I support them. But you are as much as a perpetrator saying these out loud. I keep negative thoughts privately. If you do say something negatively out loud, you are likely to offend a person by doing so. Your reasons are correct, but his rude behaviour to people indicates that he is annoyed. He also doesn't want to make a ModLoader version probably for personal reasons (busy with other work). And this mod has no clear plan due to people asking for a ModLoader version, possibly making Quintinity disorganized and possibly other reasons. So, just a small tip, keep negative thoughts privately.
