I had this bug too. destroying a block and replacing it on the effected area worked for me. It's annoying though the dark areas are able to spawn mobs. on my super flat world I'd find an army of creepers on each area D:

Hello, I was just playing around with the new snapshot when I noticed that golems dropped a hefty sum of iron bars. So I thought why not create a golem spawner...
The concept is simple really, the wooden ring around the golems is filled with doors and about 25 npc villagers the two grass blocks in the centre provide a place for the golems to spawn. Each time the third golem spawns it knocks down the first one. The spawn rate is instant.
placing a trap underneath (e.g. piston crushers) will give players an infinite source of iron.
This could also be used to build your own personal iron golem army.
Edit 1: I believe this could be used in survival by enclosing atleast two villagers into a ring, building many doors inside so they'll breed and finally removing all grass blocks within
Edit 2: I just spammed about 50 more villagers into the ring. The game became very laggy and the generater was spewing about 3 iron golems per second. XD

I plan on adding redstone components and I don't really consider this something for creations. Creations is more for aesthetic builds. Redstone is for functional devices.
