Read again please, and stop being argumentative for the sake of it.

In case you don't realise, "!=" means "does not equal". I was saying that laptops and netbooks are two different things.

Got it now? Or you want to argue some more?

Hmm.. Never seen anyone on the Internet say "!=" mean Does Not Equal..

And last time I checked, typing 12 extra characters wasn't that hard.

Actually it was "my compatibility with NO" which is NatureOverhaul. Just a shorthand. I can see how that would be a little confusing, haha.

****, heard of that Mod, where tree's re-plant themselves D:

And how did you get a long with the Standalone L.S.O.D Fix?

your an idiot thats what he is saying his argument is that laptops are fine if you get a good gpu, cpu and 2 ram but 4 ram is better and that netbooks are ****

How am I the idiot, when you can't even spell or type properly? [Grammar Nazi]

What the hell is 2 RAM? What on earth is 4 RAM? Bro, learn some English and type properly. It's 2GB of RAM and 4GB of RAM.

And then he said that "Laptops = Netbooks"

Once again, your argument is Invalid.

There is a huge difference between Laptops and Netbooks:

Netbooks are inexpensive and ****. On the other hand, Laptops are better but more expensive.

Once again, your Argument is invalid.

Ram isn't all that important - as long as it has at least 2GB you'll be fine (although I would recommend 4Gb as a minimum for general use).

What you need to ensure is that it has a decent graphics chip - don't get one with intel graphics as it'll barely run Minecraft. Look for something with decent Nvidia / ATi graphics hardware, and a decent CPU.

Don't buy a netbook, they are completely useless for games :smile.gif:

    He's getting a Laptop.

    I have a Laptop.

I can play Minecraft at Max Settings at 90FPS.

    Your argument is invalid.

4GB of RAM is enough for Gaming in General,

but Minecraft is entirely CPU dependent, and partly GPU dependent. So a good CPU and GPU would be essential for getting smooth FPS on Max Settings for Minecraft.

Also, if you'd like, you can link me to the Laptop your wanting to buy, and I could see if it will be good enough to handle your wanting job.

Just deleted my bin and tried F3ing on a fresh install and I am still getting lag every 3 seconds. That ensures that it isn't one of my mods.

You're right, I only didn't do it because it conflicts with one of my mods and I'm not willing to part with them. Being that I'm a civil person, since I did a fresh install, I'll start by installing Optifog and Optimine.

As I suspected, you were right. I knew that this mod was the cure to what was killing my experience, but I didn't want to part with any mods. Now I guess I just have to go through the arduous task of reapplying each of my mods to find which one is causing the incompatibilities and hope its one I can part with. I really hope it's something like chicken gliding lol. Thanks for slapping sense into me I suppose.

No. Not Optimine. Never ever Optifog.

Just the 'Lag Spike of Death Fix' will do.

And Optimine if your feeling the need for FPS. Optifog will do nothing if you play on Normal/Far Render Distance. And I find it completely useless too.
