It's been about 2 weeks, so I'm reviving this. I hope I am not going to get an infraction for trying to get an answer to my question, but is the build in the above post good? Is there a possibly better build that costs less? Please tell me. :)

posted a message on [CTM][Collection] Vechs' SUPER HOSTILE Series (Spellbound Caves II out now!)
I downloaded it because I was bored, and I'm saddened. I'm sure the map must be great, especially considering the videos I've seen of people playing it. The problem is, my computer is a piece of garbage. Even at the lowered settings I was running, it still wasn't enough to get rid of frequent fps drops and fps lag. I read the book at spawn on System Requirements, and my computer is running 2.0 GHz with 2048 MB memory. :(

So, to this date I've never gotten a chance to play and beat a Vechs map. This long wait for a new computer is holding up my chances of doing alot of things, some things not even relating to Minecraft. I do intend to play your maps when I'm able to, however. :D

posted a message on Mobs in 1.6
Mummies that naturally spawn in Temples like Witches in Witch Huts. The loot in Temples is too easy to get to, needs somewhat of a challenge. Maybe the mummies can shoot bandages at you and slowly draw you towards them.

A Krakken boss in the Oceans.

A few variants of fish. Maybe one or two should be hostile, and instead of a shark, a Sea Creeper. Swims like a fish, explodes like a land creeper. Difficult to avoid. :)

A few bird variants as well. Maybe one should be hostile. Possibly rare generating structures that spawn high in the clouds with some form of an Air boss.

Just some cool ideas I came up with. Hope to see at least one of these in 1.6. :)

    Quote from WilchHabos

As Mojang have already stated, the plan from 1.5 onward is for a more concentrated approach to updates with most of the focus being on one area of Minecraft. I think anyone who has seen the Minecon videos, or was actually lucky enough to be there, shouldn't be expecting too much in the way of variation in future updates. This being said, Jeb and Dinnerbone don't seem afraid to drop in little features or changes, here and there, that don't necessarily fit in with the core objective of an update.
I heard that they were going to start theming upcoming updates, but I was just suggesting they take it from my approach instead. And yeah, I've noticed in the Redstone Update here and there there appeared small changes or additions not realating to redstone much. :)

posted a message on [PARKOUR] Sprint Map "Winter to Summer Chase"
Well, I've played it, and it isn't bad. Some jumps feel hard to do with the speed 2 potions. You can easily OVER jump them if you aren't careful. Some small things:

-You spelled "predicted" wrong in Sky's Mansion. :)
-His mansion isn't a mansion, more like a small cottage.
-Some cave jumps feel like they block potential sprint jumps from being made. You kinda have to walk and sprint in them to get by.

Otherwise, not bad. I'm glad Sprint parkour maps are getting some more love as of recently. :)

You should make the download .zip. A little bit more convenient than .rar. I'm about to play this, hoping it is good. :)

EVERYTHING. I want updates where almost all aspects of the game are enhanced and touched up on. Having an update focused on only one subject mainly doesn't really please everyone alot. But, when you reach towards more aspects of the game, you please more people.

Mainly, I'm looking for new Biomes, alot of Terrain changes and additions (to fix little annoying things, like the overabundance of small ground water lakes), and tons of new Aesthetics, because I love Modern building, and there are so many new blocks that have yet to appear in Minecraft Vanilla that'd help make my builds more detailed.

First of all, thanks. I just wrote what i've used, please read back just a little bit. :D
Creative Commons stuff is really simple, you just choose what kind of license you want and stick is on your page/thread/whatever.
You can make one here: http://creativecommons.org/choose/
Thanks a bunch man. Keep making CTM maps, I'm sure it'll get you well known. That effort deserves more noticing. :)

The map looks amazing. Thinking about downloading & playing it.

Please tell me, what programs and mods did you use to make the map? Also, how did you get the "Creative Commons" protection thingy? I'm thinking about actually creating a CTM map idea I've had for a long time, and I need to be informed on what tools to use and how that Creative Commons thing can protect my map. :D

They should indeed add something like this. I'm totally up for less laggy gameplay. Not to mention cool new underground biomes.... I think there should be new underground generating structures as well using this idea.

Of course, I highly doubt Mojang would attempt adding this into Minecraft. But it is an amazing idea, and it should be implemented ASAP. :)

Well, still waiting on that computer. Decided to revive this topic and see if this particular build is still going to be cost effective considering it's been a few weeks. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/EBF4

Please inform me of any cheaper builds that can do as well or better than this build. It would be appreciated. :D

posted a message on Minecraft Modern Architecture-How do you plan?
I felt like creating this topic to ask this big question: How do YOU plan out your Modern Minecraft buildings?

There are many amazing modern builders out there who I hope can share their secrets with the crowd of people eager to know how to begin and improve their very own modern structures. I want you people who are into or interested in modern architecture in Minecraft to tell me how you plan out your buildings. Do you make floorplans, do you sketch it out, do you simply say "I want something modern!" and just place blocks randomly?

Please, go into detail and explain your process on planning, building, and finishing modern structures. Give us ideas on how you fill in empty space, make ugly shapes look better, what techniques and styles you use. It will be very helpful to all the people interested in this style of building. :)
