Thank you very much for this mod. I am building a replica of Biltmore Estate and need something to fill in the 200+ rooms. I plan to keep following this mod and am very interested in anything you plan to add in the future. Minecraft needs lots more of steve-sized decorations. I am also converting the texture pack to Doku-Craft: The Saga Continues for my own personal use as it is my texture pack of choice.
Also, are those strange sandstone and blue glass pillars in the desert one of your easter eggs? Also.. Can I expect more?! I love finding surprises!
Very nice, very nice! I love how you're incorporating the carved parts around the door. I too am building this building. I'd like to see your future progress Also, what scale are you building it to?Very nice, very nice! I love how you're incorporating the carved parts around the door. I too am building this building. Awww! What a lovely town and such a cute texture pack! Both are very nice and I'm going to go snag that texture pack. Thank you for showing us your wonderful work.
All I can say is Wow! You've inspired me to do my own Survival no mod massive structure build. I have Dynamic Height installed and I was thinking of doing the Biltmore Estate(since noone has ever done it, I think)or another historic castle. I'll provide links when I get it started. Only problem with Biltmore is the lack of plans(Vanderbilt family is very stingy with them). Good luck on the rest of that castle.
Awesome, another Biltmore builder. I'm building it too very.. very slowly. I have two jobs that take about 14 hours every day soooooo I've not even completed the basement. I wanted to share with you the source of my plans though. http://biltmore-floor-plan.org/
I found out the size of the dining hall.. reduced that to Minecraft's 1 meter block size and then made every meter 1 pixel and then drew my own in paint. Hope this helps you with your Biltmore Build or at the very least gives you the layout!
So wonderful! I'm thrilled to see building progress! It's a shame you have absolutely no snow in a reasonable distance, but you've got the wool if necessary. I'll be following closely.
Also.. thankfully for the glass.. you have a huge desert near you >D
Swervish, So happy you updated! :biggrin.gif: I check this thread every day. I am so excited for this and can not wait to see your progress on it. I myself did some research into Fishtaco's height mod and am now building a copy of Biltmore Estate on a full scale. All legit because of you. And I'm soooooo totally regretting it, lol.
Please keep us up to date on the new world and the building, even if it's just clearing land!
Oh man, So excited! I can't wait to see how you work. Sadly, I downloaded a Dynamic Height mod for my world and my Biltmore build (I need at least a 300 block sky limit..) and.. the lag is insane. *Cry*

Because this project is all legit and we love the way Swervish is documenting the process. Then Skyrim stole him from us D:
