Hello, I have a DW20 server with the armor/status HUD's. By default, the status HUD displays just fine, but I cannot get the Armor HUD to display. Anyone have any ideas?? There doesn't appear to be much in the config that would make me assume it's disabled, so I am clueless at this point
Thanks for the response. I actually ended up disabling the mod all together (I didn't know you could do that). I love Ars Magica though, the Fire Guardian blows my freaking mind.
How can I completely disable AM2 mobs, or the entire mod itself from my Direwolf20 server? I cannot for the life of me get the AM2 mobs to stop spawning. I've tried editing the AM2 config, but that did absolutely nothing.
edit: don't get me wrong, i think AM2 is absolutely fantastic and I love what it has to offer, but for this server I am running, I do not need it's mob spawning functions. I am trying to run a server where Only zombies spawn, so you can see where my troubles lay. Someone said OtherBlocks, but even with that configured, it still allows AM2 mobs (perhaps I did it wrong? halp!). I even have OtherDrops running which I have set to replace any_creature that spawns with a zombie, which works for all the other mobs.. but Hecates and Mages and all that still get through
For normal/mine&build servers that I visit, I love AM2. Thanks for the hard work, but could someone help, there has to be a way to disable it or disable the mobs.
Okay. This mod is driving me absolutely insane. I've tried using different modpacks, but it seems this one is in all the other one's i could potentially use.
I keep turning off the Ars Magica mobs from spawning, but they keep finding their way back into my server. Not to be disrespectful, but I'm sick of it and have no use for the mod on the server. Can I just delete the whole AM2 folder from my mods or will this cause a lot of problems?
Someone just please tell me how I can disable this whole mod or stop the hecates and all those other mobs from spawning. Please.
Alright guys, I should have mentioned. FTB (Feed The Beast Launcher) is required to even login to the server. Feed the beast is a Minecraft Launcher that injects the mods into your minecraft game. This allows for minimaps, tons of extra blocks and items, all kinds of stuff.
I'm starting a new server. I have had this idea for quite some time and this will be my third time attempting to tackle it. It seems the stars have aligned with Feed The Beast, Resource Packs, and Plugins so I will actually be able to do what I've been set out to do
Without getting into too much detail (because there is quite a bit, but the idea is simple), I am creating a closed city from the ground up. At this point, I have created a basic grid of streets and the layout that the city will be contained in, so I am ready to start building. Once completed the city will serve for a hardcore pvp/survival Zombie Apocalypse environment. No mining for resources as this started as a flat world and now I am building an overworld on a 600x600 slab of dirt. Throughout the city there will be a few main attractions that serve as mazes, such as a Jail, and if one gets through a series of mazes and challenges then a reward would be waiting. I do not expect people to build me an elaborate maze building.
Here's where you come into play. This city is going to be fairly large for one person to fill out by themselves. I need help fleshing out the city with good looking but generic buildings. 1-3 floors, nice architecture (nothing too fancy, but pleasing to the eye), not big (realistically convincing as a building). I do not need super elaborate buildings, but if you're good at making those, I have a uses for that. These generic buildings will also take damage from players trying to break down walls to get away from zombies, so please understand I don't need the creme de la creme, but I do want the buildings to look nice.
I have a custom texture pack that you will need to use, as well as FTB/Direwolves20. So you will have a huge variety of blocks to use. What I will do is have you go to town with creative mode and worldedit and see what you got. Expect either overwhelming adoration or blunt criticism.
If you have lots of buildings saved as WorldEdit schematics, you can use those too, or send them to me for review.
If you really impress me and have the drive to build a lot of buildings, we can work something out for commission!!! No Joke!
Alternatively, if you just love to build and want to be part of something that's going to be bad@$$ and just wanna do it for fun, I'm sure you can have a spot as a mod/admin when things go public.
If you're interested, please fill out these questions:
Age?
How long have you been playing MC? How often do you play MC? What's your MC Account? Skype? Do you have FTB? <-- Required. Are you familiar with WorldEdit and/or Moderating? When can you start demonstrating your building skills?
What Lord_Sunday said. But in your case, the armor and the subfolders of textures are the 1.5 texture pack format. In 1.6 resource packs you'll have to use the assets subfolders.
In the main folder of the Resource Pack I am editting, there is a Texture-->blocks folder..
There is also Assets-->Textures-->Blocks
What is the difference and what is the purpose of having both?
Also in the main folder I have Armor...
Then I have Assets-->Models-->Armor
I seem to have doubles of a lot of folders... What the hell is going on?! lol
Do I need both of these folders? What is the differences? Can anyone explain this to me? Because there literally is two different folders for almost everything in the Resource Pack
Hey.. I'm lookin for a couple dedicated mature minecrafters to help me kickstart my new server. I have ran a decently successful server in the past, even got donations, but it wasn't up to my standards so I decided to take a break and re-hash some ideas. I just need a couple of good guys who can build like hell. Moderation/plugin knowledge is a huge plus. Of course anyone who helps will become staff and have quite a bit of creative control. The server will be private until the workings are complete, then we go public. Sound cool? Let's go over my ideas and see if you still want to help
The Theme will be Apocalyptic/Zombie.
These are the three core dynamics to the server. 1. Loot based survival. Kill zombies and they drop random loot. No mining for valuable materials. Only random drops and looting will get you the goods. 2. Hardcore PvP. Kill or be killed. Loot all that drops. 3. Certain materials are rare. Diamond Swords/Armor, etc, would be very sought after. Seeing them in the wild would cause a frenzy of players to try to get them.
Those are the three main dynamics. From each of these it gets more complex.
We will build a overworld and underworld from the ground up. Completely empty world for us to build our small world. There will be a fixed city with a boundary. Underneath will be a network/grid of sewers. It will be big enough to emulate a small city, complete with streets, buildings, monuments, manholes, what have you.
Picture the city as a 3x3 grid. You will spawn in a safe-zone in the middle of the grid. Such as a Hospital. In each square there will be a large/intricate building. Some will only be accessible by sewer, such as a Prison. Each building will serve as a series of challenges/mazes/tricks that will take skill to get through. Completing the challenging maze of jumps, memorization, and fighting off Zombies contained in each building will lead you to an Enchantment Table. This will allow you to imbue your stuff to become more powerful and better at PvP.
