    posted a message on Placeable void fog block

    It essentially allows you to place a block that simulates the effects of being in the void fog with particle and non particle versions.. Naturally the player can breathe while in it and light sources aren't visible from a distance through it, and it is more or less meant to be a way to add a sense of dread to an area.



    Unlike normal void fog the void fog block sort of acts like a normal block which prevents the placement of other blocks in it, but isn't solid enough to prevent the placement of torches within it or blocks on it. Additionally lava and water can flow freely through it but do not displace it.


    I'm requesting this mod be created cuz i wanna be able to have void fog present in my castle, however if the psuedo block features aren't possible then i'd be fine with void fog just being a placeable block.


    I'd like it to be for v 13 if possible.

    Tntrees look like ordinary trees but watch out it's a treap. Tntree's explode almost immediately when hit giving anyone unfortunate enough to hit one and anyone nearby. It also adds a biome called the gunpowder biome where literally everything is made of explodium except the ground.

    they have mob skins somewhere but i just can't seem to find any. Technically i only need a monster skin for my player but i have no idea how to make one tbh. I guess it doesn't really matter some one else will probably have to do it for me anyways.

    Yea that worked i have no idea what's with ad fly these days. It gives me a lot of trouble whenever i have to go through it. honestly i have no idea why people use it to begin with really.

    Would be nice if you could give npc's regular mob abilities like being able to blow up. I'll give him a block of dynamite as a weapon and have him run at the enemy. Or rather have him teleport like an enderman then blow up. An endercreeper. the stuff of nightmares. Yes and lets make it a creature that is sum,oned by another npc. I shudder to think the devastation such a combo would cause.


    When you have teleport selected they do not move normally unless they are wandering orare a follower of some sort. By the way why is companion still not completed?

    By the way do you think you could add a bunch of non spawning entities to this mod. There really isn't a lot of variety in usable entites for the monster fortress i'm making. It wasn't a problem before because i had twilight forest but it looks like it'll never reach 1.10.2. It such a letdown that there isn't a lot of monster variety. Before there were various skeletons, naga, and various golems and knights and stuff all of which were cool Now it's just not that much variety.


    If custom npcs brought a bunch of it's own monster entities (which don't necessarily spawn, it would fix the issue in variety when it cam to monsters. Plus there's only so much you can do with a steve model and a few customization options. I feel like if you are gonna make custom npcs you gotta be able to have a lot of variety for models.


    I kinda wish i knew where to look for more mobs like the ones i had that only add in their own entities and nothing more.

    Ran into a bug where putting a bow in weapon slot causes the inventory screen to glitch. this never happen to me in 1.7.10 version of the mod. Unless you've already fixed it by now I hope you make quick work of this one, it is awkward to have an archer shooting arrows without a bow. This is the 1.10.2 version i believe. Only the bows from tinker's tools do this none of the other weapons i've tested outside of the bow family of tinker's tools like swords seem to cause this problem.

    It adds doors that are portals like that from the portal series where you see everything from both sides as if they were right there despite being many blocks away. It doesn't need to work with multiple dimensions though. for 1.10.2 and later. hopefully.

    Essentially it works like that one mod from the moon only you're not on the moon and it's a completely empty build space. It also doesn't come with a buildable portal and requires creative mod to reach or pre-existing teleport pads. If you look down you can see the world below you and blocks that are further away in the x and z category will be skewed more and more until you don't see them to a certain point. Movement in blocks compared to the overworld is a 10:1 ratio meaning for every 10 blocks you move in this dimension it only translates to one block in the overworld. You also can't build portals here period.

    The blocks that spawn mostly is lava and wide open spaces like the nether but with overworld blocks. Diamonds are far more common here assuming you can get here. It's not a different dimension either. You'll also see very few areas with water and there also aren't any nether forts. It's essentially a hell biome that you can put a bed in. There are two version one where you take damage from the extreme heat (unless you have fire resistant armor) and one without it.

    You could also go the route of all non sand and gravel blocks fall if they aren't next to another block.
