Restone devices often have to be small enough to fit between existing structures or terrain features. I think owing to the fact that they are usually an afterthought or because aesthetics take a higher priority than making room for bulky redstone devices.
I have a pretty good system for controlling redstone junctions. Only 3 bits are needed to define all possible junctions. Anyway, it's pretty simple. First, redstone automatically forms a junction with the previous block you placed, assuming they are right next to each other. In order to create new junctions, or destroy them, equip some kind of a wand. With the wand, left click on one block, right click on an adjacent block, and bam, you've just created/removed a junction between them. That's it., now you can have redstone wires that are directly adjacent without necessarily connecting, and can create vertical circuits as well.
I'd recommend that you re-read that comment. It explains how your vision is incompatible with how minecraft works in a fairly short-and-sweet way.

Also, I find that if you die while being water-poisoned, the condition persists after you respawn (note that the biome I was respawning in was a desert biome.)

Thanks!

Ok, so what does the leg cloth item do?

Is the crouch-in-water to drink feature supposed to not work or is that what leg cloth is for? Also, how do those work? None of the spotlight videos give any information on it.
It had looked like it was.

You can't. Forge is a requirement.

Coolio, but Where is the thirst bar now? Have you just disabled it being shown or is something wrong on my end? (Installed both mods and TukMC's GUI shows and I see Thirst mod content ingame, so I know they are working.)

Would you please pm me as things progress? Or every 12 hrs if it doesn't...

Hold on a sec, he DOES use GuiIngame but If he don't use it, the air bubbles are in the wrong place. (there is even a bug in that mod right now where the bubbles are wonky.) He just doesn't know how to draw his thirst bar without moving the air bubble/breath bar around. He has a fix that uses GuiIngame, but you see where the problem arises from now, yes?

I asked Him in the thread of his mod. I'll Pm him in 12 hours if he don't respond by then.
Interesting problem AND solution. Good to keep in mind if I run into that problem in the future (Even though I can't hardly stand IC2, or buildcraft for that matter. In fact, I loathe most of those kind of mods for some reason. I guess I just don't like mods that add automation without a lot of work involved to get there).

This is what he suggested:
Note that no crashes are caused, but TukMC's UI is completely overwritten.

It doesn't crash, but the UI is the default Minecraft+ the thirst bar.
