Was working fine on one Nexus 7 and one Acer iconia tab 8. Then the version in April came out and the Nexus stopped working. I was told it was a bad device so I bought a 2nd tab 8. Big mistake as the latest version also doesn't work there on a brand new install of Android with no other apps.
A week later, the other Acer stopped playing it. Kids haven't had Minecraft on their tablets since April.
Funny thing, for the heck of it I loaded it on my phone and it works no problem. I grabbed a junky moto smartphone out of the drawer and it works there too...
Tried factory image on both tablets and ONLY loaded amazon appstore and MCPE and Minecraft stops
Amazon doesn't care and apparently the dev support via email is only concerned about billing issues
