By "timbergnoll" I meant wolffolk and I could not find a better name for my idea of a callipsian which has the torso-head of a horseshoe crab

Race name: Shadowfolk
Appearance: imagine a basic, genderless, humanoid form with arms as long as it's legs. They are not composed of flesh and bone, but a strange, shadowy, smokelike, almost semi-corporeal material. It has one large glowing blue eye on the center of it's head. The smokelike material that makes them up is an inky black color. (think: those shadow creatures you fight in ico and you would be really close) they are hunched over, making them slightly shorter than humans, and they are broadly built, making their shoulders wider than a humans. Their torso is very thin (about the circumfrance of a pool noodle) they have no mouth, yet they can manage to speak in a whisper, as well as drown or suffocate. They age incredibly slowly, have a very low rate of birth, and don't eat for spans of a few years. Their appearance has caused them to be shunned by those that summoned them. They are very flexible and acrobatic, though not strong or resilient at all.
Race territory: These creatures dwell in an otherworldly plane that , as far as everyone knows, can only be accessed by magic. Only the elves and linxfolk have ever been to it. This strange land is almost completely tied to magic, which explains how only elves and lynxfolk could access it. It is a barren landscape, marred only by ancient ruins of those who tried to stay. A chalk-white stone covers the barren ground, and Veins of an oily brass colored metal about as strong as copper are common here (dubbed: abyssalyte). It is strangely illuminated, yet there is no sun. It is rather cold there, and there is no vegetation.
Race government type: most are nomadic, but those that congregate into societies have a governmental system that can only be described as communist. They have basic laws of do not kill unless in self-defense, do not try to anger foreign races, and do not steal. Their biggest law is that all experiences, both good and bad, MUST be shared. Normal punishment is temporary banishment. Should someone break the one big law, they would be put into exile permanently for committing the one, unforgivable crime of greed.
Racial history: during ancient times, only 2 races could access the shadowfolk homeland, elves, and lynxfolk. Only ancient cults have ever tried and managed to find access to the plane of shadows. Not knowing what to think of these strange visitors, the native shadowfolk refrained from approachingthe elf cultists that first found them. When those cultists went back, thinking there was nothing to find of use, those shadowfolk watching their departure congregated to one of the abandoned campsites left over, and began to utilize the refuse of the cult. This led to the forming of one of the first shadowfolk communities. Years later, other groups of elves and lynxfolk began showing up to their land. It was only a matter of time before they met the shadowfolk. Since the shadowfolk looked incredibly evil, the elves and lynxfolk were somwhat confused as to what to think of these strange creatures.
They had no means of communication, so the first few months after they met were confusing indeed. The lynxfolk and the shadowfolk finally reached a common ground in communication with simple gestures, and began tolerating the presence of eachother, as well as learning eachothers languages. The elves eventually stopped visiting the shadowfolk homeland when more important problems came up. They eventually forgot about the shadowfolk almost entirely. Though hidden cults still practice the art of summoning these creatures. Eventually, the lynxfolk also partially forgot about them, though their lore may still include the shadowfolk. Only those well versed in lynxfolk and elven lore even know what these creatures are. Most others would either run away in fear, or attack it on sight. Those few that get summoned to the main world by hidden cults. A few shadowfolk have managed to escape those cults and began to explore this strange new world. Most of civilisation just shunned them. A few shadowfolk found the lynxfolk that remember them to be relatively tolerable of them. Those shadowfolk that have escaped the cults that summoned them are stuck outside of their homeland, due to the shadowfolk's inability to use magic. They have never really worshipped any diety.
Other info:
Fighting style:
"We can't even trust our shadows" -found in a dead cultist's journal
they are not very strong, resilient, or fast. They are, however, immensely stealthy. They look very similar to shadows (hence their name) and have a knack for hiding in them. You may never see a well-trained shadowfolk assassin until it's too late. Though if you do detect one and catch it in time, you'll likely beat it with ease. The hard part is finding them
Attitude: thy shadowfolk are very curious and generally nice to outsiders, but they are more than willing to defend themselves in the face of hostility. They find the lynxfolk to be more tolerable than most other races.
They have nothing to do with capybara's

Ign: Apathyman
Age in real life: 15
Time zone: whatever the hell is in the U.S.A. midwest
Building skills: I can build somewhat decent watchtowers, not much else though
why I should be accepted: I am at least relativly mature. I have common sense. I love to role-play western roleplaying (not so much on final fantasy or anything related to that angst-heap)

Does your universe have life: yes is an understatement
Races in your universe if there are any:
Humans: have mixed magic and technology
Cyberiom: robots made by humans that are nice to most organics
Dark Eldinoi: Drow, just in space
Raktathool: slaves of the dark eldinoi
Dracossi: hating both cyberiom and dark eldinoi, these draconian bipeds use large energy hammers and are incredibly honorable.
Callipsians: these are a cross between fallout 3 mirelurks and lobsters that are stark-white and aquatic. They use technology.
Nathrazim: think Zerg, or Tyrannids; except they eat the planet too. They use biotech
And many more minor races.
Does your universe have a name: Metaverse (or polyverse if that doesn't work)
How old is your universe: far beyond millennia
Does your universe have interactions with other universes, such as interdimensional travellers, is about to collide with another universe, etc: this multiplanar universe has wormholes appearing all the time leading to the many planes of it. Rarely would one open up into another universe.
Other: there are fantasy creatures in this universe including but not limited to: dragons, futuristic dungeons, interplanar monsters....

Race/faction name: cyberiom
Description: a race of robots originally used to serve humans. Unlike what you would expect, they are actually rather friendly to organics.
Tech: FTL drive, vac-missiles, fusion powering, advanced programming, They have really compact designs, being little more than AI's.
Starting ship: CMV (cyberiom military vessel) fenris, a heavy scout ship armed with four vac-missile arrays, and a self-powered FTL drive system. It looks like a black and teal octagonal prism with 2 wings each (one at front, one at back) on each side. (about the speed of the average frigate. It has better sensors than the other ships of the cyberiom fleet.)
Suggestions: magic and biotech come to mind. Not sure why.
(my favorite band: toss up between Dream Theater, Kansas, and Rush.)

Minecraft version 1.0
Land/town: can he start out independent? If not: he aligned himself with stonebow.
Job: toolsmith
Race: warrior
Name: (for simplicity sake, I'll leve this one blank. Otherwise, Wilson McZim.)
Age: 37
Bio: born and raised in the far northwest kingdom of Sralia, he had heard a few stories about this land in his late childhood, shortly before he went into Sralia's powerful military. He was to serve in it for three years. He was taught how to utilize an axe in combat and he had advanced training in polearms, specifically the halberd. One month after his training, his mother died (of natural causes). He decided to begin traveling the world, but first went back into training in various survival skills that he would need. During those two months of training, his father also died (also of natural causes).
Days before Wilson left sralia, he began thinking of a place to travel. As he thought, he distantly remembered the stories about the land of Silvania, and decided that he wouldgo there. When the day came, he took provisions for the trip, and went along his way to this distant land.
(it's things like this that let my autism and imagination go wild.)
Any suggestions: a job that involves brewing and/or enchanting.
