First off go to this and download the latest for 1.6.2. It will be in a .jar file double click it and a window should open saying a few options one of which saying "download to client" click this one. After that open minecraft and stay in the launcher. Press the edit profile button below your username. See where it says "use version" click that and scroll all the down and you should see a version called "release 1.6.2-Forge9.10.0789" (or something along those lines). Click this and press "save profile". Run minecraft once using the new version then close it. Now open finder go to "applications support" and find the "minecraft" folder. Open it up and you should see a folder called "mods" now. Place any files mods you download in there. Run your minecraft and it should work. There are a few mods that can't be downloaded like this but most can. IMPORTANT if the mod you are looking for say buildcraft is not for version 1.6.2 it will not work and sadly buildcraft has not been updated to 1.6.2. I have been looking on inthelittlewoods website for almost any hour they list so much stuff about the server but I can't find the actually IP any where does anyone know what it is?
The friends list tab doesn't seem to work. I click add friends and type in my friends name and nothing happens? Also for some reason continue always says the same world no the world I last played.
I just downloaded minecraft snapshot 12w21a but when I tried to load my world it said "It's worse then that he's dead,Jim. go download the server, and extract it to...". I have no idea what files I need to download can someone help.
