posted a message on What You Like to See From 1.7?
I definitely would like to see things add to oceans to enhance them like fish or something to explore, or maybe some cool ocean monsters to fight. But if Mojang thinks of adding new mobs like fish or elephants, I hope they work on it themselves, and leave DrZ's mobs out of it.

posted a message on People for the Ethical Treatment of Squids
Squids should definitely NOT be treated as cruelly as they are. As useless and stupid as squids may be, I can't help but love them! I only kill them when I need ink sacs, and with sheep to dye that is seldom. I like watching them mindlessly swim in the water; I sometimes even jump in and swim with them. I also get irritated when Sky fanboys infect anything that has the slightest to do with squids with their hate (same thing goes for gold). >=(

posted a message on Stop complaining about the update
If you hate complaint threads so much, why would you read them? That aside, I'd like to make my input: In Mojang's case, they will never be able to make people completely satisfied with the game, and in your case, you'll never get everyone to stop complaining or see eye-to-eye with you.

    Quote from thegreatninjaman

ok i agree with this but zombie hording mechanics are completely none-optional unless you use a mod.

Which brings me to my next point: I will not "complain" about the features (horses, leads, carpet, ect.) because there is no point to and I like them, as they are nice add-ons to the game. I care more about the recent mechanic changes (regarding zombies, hunger, and difficulty increase when staying in a region). I have seen enough feedback that I will say that some sort of attention needs to be brought to these changes. Never in an update before 1.6 have I questioned, "do I want to play this update?"

I think Mojang is finally letting the fame get to them, and they make whatever changes they want and expect us to instantly like it.

posted a message on The Horse Update: 1.6 Is Now Live!
I think until they change hunger back, remove the difficulty increase when staying in an area, and make adjustments to horses, I will stick with 1.5.2..

Also fix the horrible lag, and sprint delay.

    Quote from Omegacorp

He forgot a few things (pretty much some very negativ changes too...):

    1. Zombies seem to have a retarded spotting range (Would fit better for blazes, the netherfort guardians, but not for common zombies, but hey atleast they are more of a threat now)
    2. Mobs become harder the longer you stay in an area, thanks for killing SMP servers Jeb, well mainly thanks to reddit for suggesting that to him... Yes I hate reddit. (Horrible change, seriously reddit, just stop suggesting this.)
    3. Golden Apples need goldingots instead of nuggets, got a decent 2nd effect, but Super Golden apples (with goldblocks) got nerfed sadly too (good that normal gapples cost more, bad that ultra gapples got nerfed)
    4. Heal potion and regen potion nerf, glistering melons take 8 nuggets now instead of 1 (which is a good change imo)
    5. Hunger drains as fast as if steve would suffer from worm parasits if you get SLIGHTLY hurt. Also here again... Thanks REDDIT for suggesting this nonsense.
    6. Sprinting works odd since 1.6.2, it has like a second delay before you start sprinting...

So to sum the (imo) bad changes up: Want the game harder? Make new challenging mobs and not by adding RANDOM factors like zombies spawn other zombies or mobs turning incredible hard after you spent a while in an area. Seriously on the tempmap on my server people complained already that zombies do 5-6 hearts damage on full iron... can anyone confirm that too?

    Quote from The_mInecraftMan

    This barely sums up 1.6.1

All he does is list the Horses, Hay, Coal, Bug Fixes and Carpets

What about leads, name tags, the upsidedown mob secret, resource packs, retextured lapis block and retextured charcoal, new 'Splash' screen names, can't break blocks with sword in creative, villager noises, hardened clay, stained clay and much more.

You could probably say all of the above in 30 seconds aswell

They quite obviously only wanted to talk about the good things in this update. Sure they excluded some small things like leads, nametags, and resource packs, but those are good thing. Everything else is bad:
1.region difficulty increase = so much for settling in a home.
    2. Hunger "fix" = watch you step/destroyed PVP
    3. Recipe changes/ = gold apples aren't worth making
    4. donkey/mules = there are horses. Why do we need these? This just leaves the world littered with these pointless horse varients.

posted a message on 1.6 Pre-Release Now Available!
I think that this is the first update that I am not gonna be excited about. Mojang may be finally letting the fame get to them. They are making changes to things that fine the way they are, instead of things that really need some attention. And wasn't this update initially about adding new mobs, not just horses and it's five varients? I was at first happy for horses, but Mojang should have definitely created their own horse and not let DrZ copy/paste his horse design and mechanics. They are too complex, graphic and gameplay wise, and should have stayed in Mo' Creatures.
