    a little quality of life thing.


    goggles of revealing show ammo type and ammo count above the automated crossbow and its upgrade, when looked at. makes it easier to notice, when we have to restock.


    a gravel to flint recipe for the crucible would also be ncie to have.

    well to be fair, you only really need one slimeball.

    by the way, is the fire focus wand animation correct? when im activating the focus, it doesnt really look like my player is pointing the wand forward. i just changes its angle really slightly.


    doesnt look as good as with the grappler for example. due to lack of potatoes, i cant compare with the shock focus yet.

    ive placed it on the grass block the golem is supposed to plant the sapling on. will try the mid air option.

    ive got a problem with a tree farm. using a use seal to plant saplings. and a fill and provide seal on a chest to store the same saplings and make them available for planting.


    i set the provide seal to "single item only". my golem picked up a sapling from the chest as intended. now hes running back and forth between the chest, pulling out saplings, running to the use seal, running back, and putting the saplings into the chest again. he keeps doing that running in circles.


    its not the worst thing that could happen but still anoying.


    is it possible to make the use seal not requst any items at all, when a sapling has been planted?

    yea, i already thought about walling it off with warded stone. skellettons can shoot at it though and knock it off the block ive been putting it on.

    would it somehow be possible to make the automated crossbow completely immovable?


    right now it can be knocked around by mobs. i like that thing though. its a nice gadget, that keeps my yard creeper free :)

    how much of a strain does the arcane bore put on the aura? is it as crazy as the infernal furnace, or can i keep the thing running for a while?

    some more golem stuff.

    golem part: magnetic arm.
    - clumsy
    - magnetic: this golem can attract loose items from a distance.

    (literally a magnet attached to one of his hands). the effect wears off, when the item hes targeting is in front of his feet.
    this includes the drops of mobs he has slain, or specific items hes trying to pick up as the result of a gathering seal.

    flesh golem. (cheaper than voidmetal)
    - slightly increased health
    - fast regeneration
    - no base armor

    trait: aura sensitive
    - this golem is affected by the level of flux in the aura. medium to high levels of flux in the aura causes disruptions of its basic functions and result in this golem to randomly shutting down (for 20 seconds to 1:30 min depending on flux levels).
    - very low levels of flux grant a significant bonus to his operating speed


    golem augment: protective wards (runic shielding)
    - the golem draws vis from the aura to build up a runic shield around him
    - aura sensitive

    crafting components include warded stone

    silverwood golem
    - light frame
    - aura sensitive

    i guess golem sorting systems are now done with a single provide seal (input) and a whole lot of fill seals that are fltered for items?
    or is a specific sorting seal yet to come? meaning one that requests already existing items in every chest in the area to be put into the appropriate chest.
    edit.: are the recipes for the seals mixed up in the thamonomicon?
    the entry for the harvest seal has the icon for the advanced empty seal, and it shows a fusion recipe with the advanced empty seal as a result.
    same way, the entry for the collect seal has the correct icon, and shows how to craft it on the first page. but on the second page it shows that the harvest seal is made with a crucible recipe from cognito and senses.




    they all look like they got mixed up. the infusion is supposed to create the harvest seal, while cognito and senses in the crucible is supposed to upgrade the basic seals.

    by the way, does anyone else feel like praecantatio should be added back in? thematically it felt kindof important,as it connected certain materials directly to magic. thaumium for example.


    also, it was only a t2 aspect. so with the level of complexity, it would still fit in with the curent compound aspects.


    futhermore i just liked the idea of the definition of magic being energy from nothing (or from the void).

    edit.: scatch that first thing i just wrote, i have a better idea:


    a small suggestion for a quality of life change. if you go into the "aspects of magic" entry in the thaumonomicon, mousing over an aspect curently lists every item with that specific aspect.


    i feel like with the popup window that scrolls through the items moves way too fast. plus, with the amount of items and blocks a modded minecraft instance can have the lists would get pretty ridiculous pretty fast.


    instead it would be nice to have a speparate entry in the thaumonomicon with a filter function that allows to search for items with specific aspects. lets say i need an item that provides aqua and air essentia. by filtering for these aspects, the list could show every single item or block in the game that has these 2 aspects in any amount.
