It'd be nice if we could add another option for the iron golem that has eyes and vines, similar to the default.
Also, take a look at the default leather armor after snapshot 12w34a.

I'm confused. I recall there only being a leather armor before this snapshot, not Leather I and Leather II.
Two questions, will we have to completely change our leather armor such as whats worn by the villagers to fit a gradient, and what does Leather armor II represent?

Isn't cloth_1 the helmet and chest plate and cloth_2 the leggings and boots still?
You might be referring to the color change of the leather? In which case it's because leather armor is now color changeable with dye.

I have a feeling the flower pot will be made with clay, so we might want to take that into consideration when we texture.
It is. 3 clay >bricks< (as stated in previous post) in the same position as bucket crafting.

    Sure thing Mac:

I think it looks great. I really like that it isnt the same color as regular wood and more so the color of the crafting table. Its a great accent color sitting next to any block really. The only thing that may be a little strange for some is that it is crafted out of bricks and when crafted it would be wooden.. But I personally will use this without change.

Also J_m1e: I like the golem as well. Not like my personal opinion matters just really happy with the work all you guys are doing.

sorry but this is crap... i mean it's not even creative just some iron blocks, no vines or nothing.. please spend some more time on your work?

Really? You do realize he stated it was a starting point for others to do more to it or until another one is released. Right?.. Also Last I check the IRON Golem is called that for a reason. Your comment is very malicious.

What he brought is an excellent starting point for many of the great texture artist that frequently bring out different textures for this pack to run with. There is no need for the hostility, This texture pack is a collaboration of different people for one common goal (A great texture pack). Im sure everyone including myself would love to have your >Constructive< input and/or *master textural knowledge.

Alright, made my quick flowerpot texture.

It's kinda bland, feel free to give advice/touch it up a little.

I was wondering what that thing in my terrain file was. LOL.. Will go test yours out and see how it looks. BRB
    EDIT: Looks great!

Ghast (thanks cameron1395 for inspiration link)

There are plenty that more than appreciate your hard work on the mobs. I feel if people don't like certain mobs you have designed or that others have designed they should just not use them. I personally don't think the ghasts are the right fit for this pack as seeing them in game, But man would they look great in it's own pack. You do really have some talent in your designs and deserve to have that acknowledged. I am more than thankful for your contributions as of late as the mobs were one of the things that needed to be implemented.

I also don't really care for the blaze ("steampunk version") as it is now. Though a great design, It doesn't really tie in well with the landscape of the Nether As you previously stated. I would love to see one of your renditions of the blaze. Keep up the great work.

I don't understand why someone would use Misa's pack and not run it with atleast setting 2 of Anisotropic Filtering, Mipmapping and Antialiasing. All the jagged edges ruin the look of the pack. I think the house is fine but can't get past the rugged edges. Might as well just run default.

posted a message on Minecraft 1.3.1 update is a joke
    Quote from JSX

To everyone who is having problems, yes, it IS on your end. No, it's not Mojangs fault. Also No, the updates not perfect. The guys at Mojang probably tested the game on their hardware and had no problems, so they went "It works!" and had the update go live. Most major bugs CAN be attributed to hardware. The only thing I can figure out about the performance is that single cores and low-end dual cores will suffer.
As seen here and on other threads some people have had no change to performance or a boost to there performance. Also, remember, that's just people who could be bother to go out of there way to report that they had no problems, there are probably many more people who were not affected by the update that just went "Cool, new features. *Plays Minecraft*". This is the retarded thing about the forums, at least the "Recent Updates" section, its seems like its meant for a proper discussion. But most don't need to go to the forums to say that they have no problems. Then it seems that the people with no problem with the update are much smaller then they are. The only time the people who normaly cant be bothered to post will voice themselves is on polls, where surprise, surprise, most will say they have no problems or like the update. Hell, there WAS a thread dedicated to saying what you like about the game and it got decimated by... delightful people... who say that OP was a "white knight" or a part of "teh moatfch defnce fort" or a variety of other things spiced with colorful language. Also, you guys wouldn't have such strong opinions if this wasn't being read by hundreds.

TL;DR: Its on your end, most aren't affected, the people who don't have any problems don't go to the forums much anyways, polls are the only way to truly see the public opinions. A "likeing" thread was trolled into non-existence. Public viewing of debates cause overly strong opinions on all sides.

I would have to whole heartedly agree with your post. I found myself reading it and saying, "This is soo true". I find myself seeing nonsensical posts all the time declaring Mojang is bad for this update/tweak and bad for that update/tweak, Only to not feel the need to post a reply simply because its Just a bunch of angry children who try to play games with toasters and expect it to run well. And expect that every update/tweak will help there toaster run the game better. People need to realize that it' s a game and alot more common than not, your hardware has more to do with the problems you are facing than the developers who made said game.

I know there are people that run this game with a great comp as well facing problems but when that's the case you need to first look at your hardware and see where it might be having hick ups giving the problems (allocation wise, bat files, clean hard disk) list goes on and on what you can try. The game runs differently so maybe tweak your comp to run differently and your problems will be solved. Instead they would rather come on to, lets be honest, a rant Post and argue why Minecraft sucks now. Why do they do that? Simple, It's easier to fault someone else for there problems then to look at themselves and either acknowledge there comps short comings or try to solve it themselves.
There is way to many of the "I want it now" generation (understandably because its a game pushed to children) in these forums and it quite frankly is disgusting.

I for one when first getting 1.3.1 had some lagging problems and all the other things people are stating about this update. Difference is I looked into my comp and asked myself," What can I do in house to fix these issues". It took me about an hour to do so and Have to say as we speak I run with absolutely no lagging from mobs i.e Spiders and easily kill able with a sword, slime also easily kill able with a sword. I have my pc locked to 120fps So I don't get any lag spikes that normally happen when your pc runs at max fps (680Fps give or take a few).I understand alot of you are barely getting 10fps which can be fixed with just alittle searching maybe you can get atleast a stable 20-30 fps. My world had the loading chunks problem but no more now that I allocated >proper< memory and adjusted my invidia graphics card accordingly.

People.... Moral of the story is BEFORE throwing blame and anger to the devs maybe, just maybe, Try to fix the problems yourself in house. Learn to understand your PC better and you will be happy for it..

I suggest everyone having problems go to this website and see how well you CAN run minecraft. Its called "CAN YOU RUN IT"

    website name http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/intro.aspx

Find Minecraft in the drop down and see how well you CAN run it. If it says >>FAST/ above recommended<< then you can look up how to get it at optimal performance by typing "How to make Minecraft run faster" in Google . Anyone that it says you can run it slow or barely on minimum required than you know you need to ask mommy or daddy ;) to buy you a new toaster, Hopefully one with proper hardware.
    Good luck

Looks very good. I do agree the cloud needs some darkening.

I really love this continuation above most, like the Dokucraft continuation. But unfortunately... Nothing feels as flawless as the original author :( It's still one of the best though, I truly feel so!

This isn't really a "continuation" pack anymore. Ovo has made his presents known and has contributed a lot to this wonderful pack recently. I also feel the texture artist's that are working to keep this pack alive have really took the time and effort to make it keep the same feel as it has always had. I have to respectfully disagree.

On Topic: Lohugo, I love the new villager particles as a rough draft (as im sure it is) Once refined could look amazing. Good Job

??What if you tried the particle right above the "happy villager" particle and changed the color to green and another to red? Just throwing ideas??
