Hey guys. Been trying to head over to the Server section to perhaps check out the multiplayer form of Minecraft I have yet to play but anytime I try to join a server it either says outdated server or nothing happens.

Is there an open server that I could try out? Would love to see what this game is like online.

I was about to say Lapis Lazuli as well. For how rare the ore is you would expect it to have a major purpose. But I dont really use it for anything except making 9x blocks out of it and perhaps throwing it into a house wall for some decorative purpose.

Someone above was about to say Clay? You make bricks out of clay! Best house building item .... that is not useless! ...

Interesting. Is this a common thing? Anything in particular that could cause a corrupted chunk of a world?

I was mining just a moment ago when suddenly, near some lava ( i can hear it, not see it ) my minecraft crashed down to 3FPS ( from 100+ ). Slow enough to where it basically crashes but after a minute or 2 finally loads the next frame. I have quit several times and went back to the area but it keeps crashing down to 3FPS.

This only happens in this one section of this mine too. If I eventually get back to the area I was before I'm back to 70-100+, but if I walk back to this little corner I was mining, it crashes back down to 3FPS again.

Anyone have any clue what could be going on here?

Alright, now im worried. I have gone back several times even using the default texture pack, I can walk about 6 steps until the game crashes again. I have to force close the program with task manager to finally get it to close.

Edit #2 : Finally " forced " my way through this area and now im back to 70-100fps. And yes, if i return to the area it crashes the game again. I have no idea what could possibly be going on here lol. Very, very confused.

Pretty much just curious. I was thinking about something when I was trying to do it but completely forgot what that was already lol.

Hey guys, trying to figure out this redstone circuitry on my own. I find doing that makes me learn alot faster. I get the basics of the whole concept of the currents and it being basically electricity so I'm just curious about a few things.

Is it possible for me to, for example, start a redstone current with a switch or button and at the end of the current or somewhere within the current, put another switch / lever / button and have the redstone circuit activate that item? I see that the currents can activate things like pistons and such, but is that the extent of it?

Here is the interior of my starter house. Kind of shows what I like. Love the paintings in the Sphinx modpack. Love the overall look but gotta love the paintings.

Brick is my favorite. Or Stone slabs.

Hey guys. I recently picked up a very large quantity of redstone and haven't really messed with the mechanics of how redstone works so what would you guys suggest as the best way to learn the functionality of it?

Any simple starter builds that could help in learning the various functionality of redstone? I would love to build a mine section that goes from my base into the local mine but also comes back to the starting point whenever it is done.

Is it possible to get minecarts to go UP hills?

Hey I am trying to rebuild a sign I built once before that allows you to put things inside of them. I made a sign, put it into the wall and then put in Ingots and such as a visual representation of what was inside treasure chests of mine.

Now I completely forgot what it was I made. I'm trying regular signs but those aren't working. Any idea what it was I made?

Hey at the moment in my survival map I am in the process of buildinv a giant bridge that crosses the ocean and links the various sectors. It bot me wondering though if I could build a drawbridge that could rise and lower when I hit a lever or walked over a pressure plate.

Is this type of thing possible?

I say, oh cool diamonds. Then get lost going back to my house and lose my diamonds. Fml

I thought that also. Thought maybe it was just a pocket of Lava that has spilled into other areas of the region. Seems like I can " plug " the lava holes fairly quickly but with all the lava around, it is making my mining pretty hairy. Almost died multiple times falling down only to see lava a block away from my feet lol.

I'll explore around eventually, but just found it odd to have lava this high.
