Delete system32, you don't need it in a netbook, it's just slowing your processor down with all of those "vital functions". The ideal computer has nothing but minecraft and JVM.
Since everything can be griefed with, whether it be Bedrock, Sand, Water/Lava, Mob Spawners, and even Bonemeal and Saplings, I don't see why people are so against the implementation of some mods to prevent some items from being used on servers.
I finally got the schem of it!
Just save this with notepad(NOT word or any other text editor), then replace .txt with the .schematic file extention -it should work.

Considering it takes up more room than the First Computer Itself (lol), text chat would be almost infinitely easier in any other case. I suppose if you wanted to send messages to friends entirely undetectable by the admin of a server, then yes, but probably not.

You have a good idea, I was always wondering what people would do with books in SSP. This is great. I think that this should be the perfect tutorial for minecraft. You could start out with an intro book, which explains the basics and tells you how to make the book of books.
Books would be perfect for SMP, too. When you're welcoming newcomers it's much better to give them a book than to use text chat.
