Just finished the map, not a bad job for someone whos new to redstone.
Some of the timing stuff was well done :smile.gif:
Maybe you could look at making the play through a little longer, and build more to the storyline :smile.gif:
such as needing to find a "key" to be able to make the repairs, or find the piece to patch the pipe.
Thanks for playing i'm glad they're arnt any game breaking glitches considering the last part wasnt tested XD um I might be able to add a key to it but having to patch it would ruin the repair part because i'd have to re-do the redstone and O personally like that part. The story is really bad I know XD like I said the map was more to test the redstone I taught myself. Though If I ever make a sequel to this map I'll fix the plot holes and it won't take place in the vault it'll be much more grand of an adventure.
So after literally teaching myself redstone I decided to put my skills to the test and make a map! It's pretty standard to be honest but i'm hoping after playing the map you redstone masters could look over at my redstone (just break the glowstone at the end) and give me some tips.
STORY
Out of all the wasteland no city has prospered more then Freedom. Freedoms secret to sucsess has been a waterfall coming from a nearby vaults broken pipes. One day the water stopped the mayor and the elder leaders quickly came up with the cause. Another broken pipe has blocked all water from getting to the broken pipe that leads the water down to freedom.
In an attemt to fix the problem the mayor has sent you to fix the broken pipe. As you neared the cave leading to the vault door everybody seemed to be frozen in fear. You lead the pary of 4 you are the first to enter the cave before a rocks come from the ceiling and seperate you and the 3 others one of your companions is trapped in the middle and crushed under the rocks his flare slides onto your side or the mess. You can faintly hear the voice of one of your companions "tiger" you can barely hear before one more rock falls canceling out his voice all together. It's up to you now to venture into the vault fix the pipe and find another way out.
RULES
1. Don't break Blocks.
2. Play on peaceful.
If you want you can play with monsters on but be warned one creeper explosion could ruin the entire map.
BUGS AND GLITCHES
There might be bugs or glitches if you come some that block your ability to continue the adventure don't be afraid to break some blocks and or doors to continue and if you find a bug or glitch please leave me a comment/post telling me what it is.
I'm in high school and books are no longer my top priority so to keep myself from becoming some idiot i've decided to read a book then play the game based off it. In the beginning, over 2000 years before Discord took over the land, 3000 years before the events of Friendship is Magic. The ponies began crawling out of their hiding spots moving into the land, they invented a language, learned to use magic and tools, and learned how to farm for food. The earth ponies, farmed the land and shared their crops for services from the unicorns and pegasi. the pegasi protected the land from any threats, and the unicorns used their magic to build magnificent towns and cities. But as the years went on, the ponies began conflicting and their hatred for eachother grew...
this is way later in the story
After Equestria's capital city of Canterlot had been built, the pegasi began to use the clouds to make their home, Cloudsdale, and the earth ponies lived in their new settlement of Ponyville. But an evil force has been created by the gods, Discord, The God of chaos was bron when the ponies began fueding again. Discord began creating chaos, turning everything into an alternate reallity. 2 Alicorns, Celestia and Luna, saw how miserable life was for all ponys, and together started searching for a way to stop him. They created the elements of harmony, and began learning their secrets. Luna and Celestia used these elemts to attack discord and stop his reign of disharmony. and took control of the land once again...
