    How about next update you start working on stuff like gem paxels? There are several mods of these so no one really owns it, but you may have to make new textures, every gem can have its own paxel and you can make vanilla paxels, that or make some sort of combined tool for epic mining, shoveling, and lumbering :D Also, can you make the ores give xp? several mods do this and I'd like to see this on do this too. Start working on gem combinations as well, like triogems mod did. Like make a new diamond variant that is strong but not as strong as celestialite or something, then you can make a trio diamond, which is almost half of uber. You can start making gems like these that have uses in between uber and red diamond. Can red diamond be enchanted? if not you should make it have an enchantabilty of 7 or 5 or something since diamond is ten. You can also make things like greatswords that do a lot more damage than average swords but are slower and require sword, it's material around it, and sticks at bottom. I can't wait to see what this mod will add in the furture and I hope the next update can already be in the making and come soon :D

    My favourite thing (apart from the actual gems that it adds) has to be the random little castle-house things that pop up here and there with a storage block in the middle. I really think that this has so much room for advancement if you say, increase their size, make them a touch more complex, put a couple of traps and maybe a spawner in them, and then hide them all over the place (think Pyramid X Dungeon)

    Another suggestion is to increase the usage of the gems and to force the player to actually explore and advance through the game. Say you have gem A and gem B. To mine gem A you need to use quartz, and to mine gem B, you need to use iron. Gem A cannot mine gem B, and gem B cannot mine A (but they can both mine redstone & gold). Then you have gems C and D. Gem A is the ONLY GEM which can mine gem C, and gem B is the ONLY GEM which can mine gem D, and you respectively need C to mine saphires, and D to mine rubies. Ofc, you then need rubies or saphires (or vanilla diamonds) to mine red diamond.

    Of course, this is just me roughly outlining my thoughts. Gems A , B, C and D could be groups of gems, with the A => C path being about enchantibility and the B => D path being about durability, they could be roughly seperated by colors (aka greens & blues & purples vs Yellows & Reds & Pinks), or the color factor could effect the durability vs enchantiblity thing (aka the high power & low durability Vs. low power & high durability thing that you have going).
    Within each one, you could add properties to some gems, or add gems within these tiers. For example, you make saphires give you underwater breathing (and anti-gravel-suffocation powers), and rubies give you fire resistence, or something like that. The possibilities are, for all intents and purposes, endless.

    My last suggestion is to add more gems to the nether, and add some stuff to the end. That, or add furnace and crafting recipes. Then, if you craft say, End realm crystals with regular diamonds, then put the resulting fairy dust in a furnace, you will receive Tinkerbell's god-mod diamonds, or something like that. Maybe it doesn't have to be this extreme (or gay), but you should see what I'm getting at.

    Enough of me spewing all my random dreams of what minecraft should be. One day soon, I will have time to go back to modding, and then I will keep my ideas to myself, to be used in my own mods. But until then I shall ramble them out at all the active modders in four paragraph posts. Anyway, a great mod with heaps of potential, and I really can't wait to see where you take it in the future XD

    First, Putting it in the mods folder.
    Second, putting it in the jar.
    Third, putting in FTB's instMods folder.

    All three crash the server and the client.

    If you need crash reports for each pls let me know. The crash report above is from the second try.

    it's not called EnumToolMaterial, it's a little file idk what it's called

    Check in creative mode, if the blocks are there, then you just have the worst luck in the world and cant find any ores

    Sorry I had a slight reob. error so I fixed it and this works

    I look in coming up and see gem lasers. What will those be? It sounds interesting :) This mod really is a step above those other "more ores" mods, except maybe for ObsidianIngots, but thats a different genre. What makes this my favorite is the nether crystal. Thanks for making the torches, I need more light :D maybe you can make more ores like this in the next update, be it overworld, nether, or end. something like 32 smetling uses or 24 or etc, maybe up to a 100. I don't use lava buckets because it's trickier to have and will consume the bucket after using, and you can't stack them. Can't use blaze rods because they a tricky mob and don't spawn that often, and the chance of them dropping the rod is even less. Perhaps you can do torch uses like you did with nether crystal, each one getting brighter. You should add a lot more ores and features, you can get to 20000 dls if you keep this up. Also, as I have said, you should also make the ores have more diversity in texture, I suggest you put orange in jade ore because I can't the difference in emerald and jade because its dark in caves. I also have an idea for an ore, Hematite,(Not really a gem but a mineral but close enough :) ) It could be the next "primary" ore in getting, being somewhat below sapphire but higher than ruby, but doesn't have much enchant-ability. The most common color of Hematite is a brownish brick red. Since there is a similar color in few of the ores, make it lapis texture or emerald or a completely new one.

    Good Ideas! I will keep them in mind
